I went to the Sundance office in Gallup last December for a complete set of dentures, very expensive and self-paid to the tune of some $4000 or so. I am retired and on a fixed income - this represents a significant proportion of my life savings. More than I spent on my car. Gone. For LESS THAN NOTHING! What did I get? I received a set of dentures that were unacceptable. The lower was way too loose and would not stay in. They rescanned my mouth and made a second lower - too tall, to the point that they are impossible to use, I can't chew anything at all with them. But wait, there's more! As an additional bonus, they relined my old dentures, using their failed scan, so now those no longer fit as well. Thanks! Now I am using my new upper and my old (relined) lower to mush my food up as they are not properly aligned and they don't really cut anything. I'm worse off than before. But the horror does not end with ill-fitting dentures and ruined old ones. I paid my bill online, as soon as received. The bill did not include certain deductions, and I paid about $369 more than I owed. Last December. They have admitted that I overpaid, promised a refund, and yet do not issue a refund. Even after being contacted by the Better Business Bureau - they told the BBB "a refund is being processed". Lie. Next step - small claims court. They will no doubt lie their way out of it. I strongly urge anyone seeking dental care too avoid this place like the plague!! This is a profit centered CORPORATION that: 1. Has minimized contact with an actual dentist (I doubt if I spent more than 15 minutes with a dentist I all my visits. Almost all work has been parted out to dental techs). 2. The lack of contact with an actual dentist results in a very low level of care, i.e. incompetence. 3. They are so greedy they will not even issue a refund for an acknowledged overpayment. 4. This is a corporation concerned only with profit. I will spend the rest of my life convincing people NOT TO GO TO SUNDANCE DENTAL. Don't make my mistake. Find an independent dentist who actually cares about people.

My other daughter ALSO had an appt and she claimed they never had an appt for her! But they called me yesterday 11/6 and confirmed both appts! Smh This was very unprofessional and ridiculous of them! They both had a positive attitude and were kind. There was no judgement at all especially if you get anxiety or haven't been to a dentist in a while. The front office lady was extremely helpful even before my appointment. She helped me with my insurance as to what would be covered and what I would pay out of pocket. Also, They helped me set up an appointment that was referred out of their office, my insurance with that office and a rough estimate of how much it would cost out of pocket. 10/10- would recommend this office.

They gave me prices for services upfront and scheduled an appointment easily. The day of the appointment, we didn't wait long to be seen, maybe 10 minutes, only because I forgot to fill out new patient paperwork before coming in. They have a cute movie room in the waiting area. The dental tech that took x-rays and did my daughter's cleaning was patient and gentle. The dentist didn't keep us waiting long either and was also friendly, patient and gentle. Overall a very pleasant experience that only took about an hour for x-rays, cleaning, and Exam. We will be back!
