A great team will help each other and help customers without pulling rank or turning their nose up at work that might be beneath them. By her title, Stephanie is the boss. By her actions, she is a leader.

I went to the pharmacy today. I stopped in to pick up a prescription for my sick son. The cashier…read moretold me it was not ready yet (even though it had been sent in by the doctor a couple of hours earlier). I asked how long it would take. She said 20 minutes. My son was not feeling well so I told her I would return in 2 hours to pick it up. I returned 2 hours later again to the pick up window. I paid, and as usual was given a clipboard to sign that I was picking it up that had my son's name and the medication he had been prescribed. HIPPA anyone? She collected my money and closed the window. Several minutes passed and I see no one. I got out of the car and knocked on the window. The cashier returned. I asked what was happening. She said it wasn't ready because the medication could not be mixed until we were here. I asked her why she had not told me this on my first visit as I would have stayed then rather than drag my sick child back out, (it was the same cashier). She closed the window without an answer. I knocked again. The pharmacist...the one who is reputed to be rude...came over. I asked when it would be ready. She started yelling at me. I told her to give me my money and the prescription from the doc so I could fill it elsewhere. She told me that there was no way she was doing that and yelled at me to get back in my car. She slammed the window again. I opened the window and asked for my money. She slammed down 2 bottles of medication and a third bottle that I was unsure of and told me to take it. She then leaned out the window, and in front of my sick child she called me an ass. She proceeded to slam the window closed on her own dog and then yelled at me about that as well. When I got home I found that 2 of the bottles were mixed. The third is an unmixed bottle of antibiotics that clearly should have been mixed by the PHARMACIST and not sent with a patient. She has a reputation for being incredibly rude, but I try to support local businesses. Next time I will just go to CVS or Walgreens for sure. I am sorry if you are having a bad day, but you do not cuss out your customers and you do not do so in front of children. The reality is that her cashier made a huge mistake to begin with, and rather than acknowledge it or apologize she got aggressive.

I was impressed with their kindness and understanding. The only downfall is a few medications cost more than what I paid at CVS but hopefully that will change. It's worth spending a little more if you get great service. I can see why CVS is sued so frequently after what I experienced. Seems to be a common theme with these people.

Because they were sent to the wrong address. They left off my apartment number. I'm on disability and a fixed income. I cannot get these meds refilled for a month and I have no funds to replace anything. Now I am left without meds I depend on and desperately need. Also the CVS App is garbage and constantly messing up. Pure nonsense. Pisses me off! The parking lot is small but seems to be able to accommodate the throng of shoppers in Logan, Ohio. The store offers pretty much what you would expect from every other CVS, but does appear to be a smaller location and the aisles were arranged different than my local layout. All in all, all you would expect from a standard CVS, with nothing really standing out, positively or negatively. In case you were wondering, they did NOT have the water I was looking for, but I did snag a few Gatorades and a Monster energy drink for the road.

They have expanded to 3 stores conveniently located Southside,, downtown Parkersburg and another one in the PARS building. Close to the traffic circle.. They were the first to deliver prescriptions in town. They are a trend setter so to speak. However, they have started closing earlier than they use to. That was my one of the main reasons why I continued to go to their pharmacy's. After that, I switched to another pharmacy because I am not a morning person and it is not cost effective to pay extra for my medication to be delivered. 30 minutes or less now at another pharmacy and they stay open until 9pm. Sorry Mike! Should have kept at least one store open late.
