November 26th (the night before Thanksgiving) at 7:38pm. She was prepping and suddenly there was a water leak in the kitchen coming from the cabinets and it had even run down into the basement from the ceiling above that area. After contacting multiple plumbers and getting exactly what you'd expect on Thanksgiving Eve, no answer or we'll get to you Friday/Saturday. Michael responded just before 10pm and by 11:03pm he was at our house assessing the situation, and got right to work. He managed to have the perfect balance of work and getting things done and making great conversation. Even when I would walk away to not hover, he just liked having a good convo while working. When I started to fade from the time, he never slowed down, he stayed alert, positive, & friendly the entire time. He worked until just before 4am to repair the problem and get us back on course to host Thanksgiving. After he cleaned up the area, took out trash, removed debris and never wavered due to the hour. It's worth noting that he ran a vacuum hose while cutting, removing insulation, & any other time he would generate dust particles so that it wouldn't get all over. He actually left the area cleaner than when he started with the meticulous way he cleaned. 10/10 kinda guy & service!

Fabio Dasilva showed up and was very informative and was able to pinpoint the issue. He also was realistic and told us that the heater was way past its life expectancy and we should think about a replacement. Did not force a sale or anything but did give us a quote for a replacement. The next day we decided to call back and just replace the system to avoid going through this again. They came in the next day, replaced the system and took care of all necessary permits. We lost the heat in our home during the recent cold snap. They sent a couple of people to check it…read moreout and determine what needed to be done. We needed a new boiler and based on AI, their quote seemed to be in the right ball-park. We decided to go check them out further. After they examined our system in more detail, we were givren a quote of $16k, which seemed in line according to AI. When they came to fix the unit, they they determined that a whole new system would be far more efficient and easier to maintain. What a pleasant surprise to end up with a more efficient and easier to operate furnace. And, here's the kicker... The final price was 25% lower than the original quote. The only negative I can think of is that I have to go make another trip to my bank to deposit the money I didn't need to use on the purchase of my new system. If there was a way to give them more than five stars, I would! (Anyway, here are a few more stars for Stafford Plumbing and Heating... ***)

This is a follow-up to a post I made on April 14, 2026. Since the debacle of having Continental…read moreplumbers come out and install a garbage disposal, we have had the fire department out because the plumber AND the supervisor (who was supposedly a licensed electrician) did not identify that the garbage disposal they installed was a 20 amp and the electrical socket was only 15 amps. For over a month it keep tripping the circuit until it basically caught on fire and burnt up one day. Along with the fire department responding, we have since spent an additional $3,145.82 to get the electrical fixed, as well as, having to buy an another NEW garbage disposal and have it installed. All Continental would reimburse us for was the $309.00 to install THEIR garbage disposal. We have since had to file a small claims court filing to hopefully get the outstanding charges THEY are responsible for. I would NEVER recommend them for ANY service.
