I knew one way I could pay her back without her turning me down and that was getting treats for her dog LOL! I don't own a dog so I had no clue where to start. The lady at the cash register was very nice, she showed me where all the treats were and which ones were the best sellers. This place gets better, certain dog treats are made in house. I thought this was pretty cool considering animals owners who prefers for them to eat healthy. They had all different types and varieties, I was blown away. They even offer spa services for animals, I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you own a furry friend.

You can get add ons to the stay like play time and interactions. The groomers are always very nice, and handle the dogs well. When I said we wanted the same as before, she seemed confused and said there were no notes. So we had to start from scratch. I had a question about the tank chemicals. The girl that was in the fish aisle was VERY busy. Had multiple people waiting. I walked up to the register, (nobody was waiting there). I asked the cashier if she knew anything about aquariums and she said no. The "manager" Debbie walked to the counter. The cashier told her I needed help. Debbie went on a FULL rant. Speaking to me as if I was a child. So now this is the SECOND time this "manager" was beyond rude. She told me again to "go wait, they had no staff" the cashier said "well she has a simple question" Debbie said "I don't care, go stand over there and wait" So again I left. Don't go here. Not worth the awful experience with Miss Debbie who is miserable and needs to either get a new job or just retire. I will not go back to this store. I did have to lift my dogs in to the tub since they were scared to go in. The dryer room was a bit loud for my pitty mix so we had to use a towel. but overall I was very happy wit the self serve dog wash. we also bought a few treats while we were there. This location has all the normal amenities of other locations-food, treats, toys, bath stations, etc. I've ordered online and picked up and I've walked in. They have a good selection and fair prices. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is due to inconsistent service from employees and cleanliness of the store. There is one employee in particular who is extremely rude for no reason every time I go and she's working. I've never had a similar experience with anyone else that works there. The checkout stations are also frequently unmanned and you have to wait or find someone to check out. I've also had the unpleasant experience of getting a bag that had some sort of liquid on it, I'm assuming pee. This location was my primary location but now I normally try to go to the prairie village location. I will still pop in when I'm in the area and need dog food as my issues are "first-world problems" and I think overall this location is pretty good.

The cashier asked me if I knew how to read because it says that it was expired. When I tried to explain that there were several signs in the aisle, I was met with rude, disrespectful and condescending comments. I chose to leave without purchasing and honestly will seek business elsewhere. I was really appalled by how they were treating me, as well as the other customer behind me. She saw this and decided to walk out as well and not purchase her items due to the blatant disrespect.
