The groomer had stated when I took her in she was going to go shorter and I said no I liked her longer. She obviously did what she wanted and then tried to justify it. I knew one way I could pay her back without her turning me down and that was getting treats for her dog LOL! I don't own a dog so I had no clue where to start. The lady at the cash register was very nice, she showed me where all the treats were and which ones were the best sellers. This place gets better, certain dog treats are made in house. I thought this was pretty cool considering animals owners who prefers for them to eat healthy. They had all different types and varieties, I was blown away. She also "boot scoots" since Petsmart groomed her. Another visit to the vet shows they tore an anal gland . Speaking to me as if I was a child. So now this is the SECOND time this "manager" was beyond rude. There is one employee in particular who is extremely rude for no reason every time I go and she's working. I've never had a similar experience with anyone else that works there. The checkout stations are also frequently unmanned and you have to wait or find someone to check out. I've also had the unpleasant experience of getting a bag that had some sort of liquid on it, I'm assuming pee. This location was my primary location but now I normally try to go to the prairie village location. When I went to the back to bathe my dog, I found that there were already three other large dogs either bathing or waiting their turn. While it wasn't a big deal that this wasn't mentioned beforehand, it added to the frustration when combined with the poor attitude and apparent lack of interest in the dogs. I previously worked in dog grooming, and even on days when I saw countless dogs, I was always excited to meet them and made an effort to create a calm, comfortable experience. At this location, I didn't see a single dog acknowledged by staff. I can't say whether that was because I have a "scary" dog breed, but I didn't see any warmth or acknowledgment toward any of the dogs present. Because my dog has anxiety and the overall vibe felt off, I went back to request a refund. Unfortunately, the second employee was just as disengaged and didn't seem to care. She asked if I had a phone account to look up the purchase for the refund, which I did--but the first employee never entered it.
