Not sure if this is the business Petterson or Go Pet Go. I used their self serve dog wash for my 2 dogs. I had to bring them in one at a time. but the baths were easy to use. I did have to lift my dogs in to the tub since they were scared to go in. The dryer room was a bit loud for my pitty mix so we had to use a towel. but overall I was very happy wit the self serve dog wash. we also bought a few treats while we were there. And the 3 girls working there were extremely polite and helpful. read more

Today's visit was a HUGE disappointment! Wash stations were not working properly, one had a note that said conditioner not working, the one next to that said out of order & the one I used would not pump out the conditioner & barely any soap....the drying room, what a mess! Dog hair all over the place, dog hair stuck to the back of the dryers, all over the brushes, mats in disarray...absolutely disgusting and they had three people working and we were the only ones in there when we walked in!!! Staff not willing to comp or discount a service that I would say I barley received a third of! I will not return....spend your money up the road at "To Dog Gone Cute", they NEVER disappoint! The Parkville Go Pet Go location is smaller then the other locations. However, what this location lacks in size it makes up for in customer service. The groomer is awesome with her cuts,& reccommendations. Both the groomer & check out lady have a very welcoming attitude when you ask a question that maybe dumb (yes, I did it) they still will explain everything you and not treat you like an idiot. :) The store itself has 3 narrow rows full of dog/cat food & treats. The groomer is in the back room & they will even let you use their restroom which is across from the groomer. (You appreciate that when you have a small bladder) They also have samples of a variety of food for you to try to see if your dog likes it or not! By doing that I was able to find a food for my pooches that was the same great quality & saved about $10 - 11 a month! Hey ever little bit helps! The treats...oh the treats....if you love giving your dog a variety of treat give this place a try. They have from normal treats to real chicken feet or kangaroo sticks!! My dog goes crazy over these items! The only down fall to this location is that there is not a u wash station here which is why I have to patronize the other store off 91 st. read more

Took dog to get hair removed from ears and be groomed. Didn't cut his hair, said 6 months was to young and didn't remove hair. Didn't tell me about not pulling hair, ear infection later caused by hair. Called back to complain and they said so sorry but that's an extra so no refund to help with the vet bill they caused! Save your self the trip, it's not the same place anymore! Customer Service is gone! Been shopping here for over 2 years. Somewhere along the way customer service has gone completely downhill. Staff used to be super helpful. They even would walked around and would help you make decisions in the best products for your pet. I have not seen that in at least 6/7 months. My last two visits have been quite ridiculous. But let me just talk about my most recent. Went in to buy my normal set all my stuff on the counter after I patiently waited behind another customers you know the way that it should be. I received a call asking to grab a bone as I turned around to grab the bone another lady started heading over to the counter from the back end of the store. I heard the gentleman who was ringing me up say oh she's clearly not done. I walked over with the bone in my hand and I stated I am done. he pushed all of my stuff off to the side and canceled out my order. He then began removing this ladies items from her basket. even though I just said that I was done. I sat there and stared at him like are you going to seriously start ringing this lady up because at this point he still had not. He did proceed to so I walked out! As I should have. When I called to speak with a supervisor it was the same guy who just rang me up answering the phone. He proceeded to tell me that he was the manager. I asked to speak with the Manager he says no I will help you. I asked to speak with the owner he said I'm the owner son and my dad does not want to talk to you! are you the person that just walked out and then proceeded to laugh continuously. I will never do business in the store ever again I will drive south and spend an extra 15 minutes or order off-line before I go back to a place that mocks their customers and laughs at them. You know the way that this young man did when I left the store and again on the phone. They clearly don't need my $200 a month to keep them going so doesn't matter to him if piss off one customer. I hope for his dad sake this business doesn't go under but if it does he can thank him because he is the number one cause of why customer service has completely gone downhill!!! read more

I took my two babies in to get groomed today and couldn't be happier! Heather really took the time to make them look beautiful and Sheila was so friendly and knowledgeable about the products/food they sell. One of my dogs is very scared of being groomed due to bad past experiences and when I picked the dogs up they were happy and calm. The ladies had a blast with them and really made my pouches feel comfortable. All this for a great price too! I rarely leave reviews, but this one was too good to pass up. I agree with Russell C.s review in 2019. Well it is worse in 2021. Absolutely horrible outcome My dog Jesse is a Broken/Rough Coat Shorty Jack Russell. He has a long wavy coat we keep trimed!! leaving a Long Fringe on face over eyes /back of legs/ and tail. All he needed was his paws and nails and bath. The groomer ( I don't know her name ) asked if anything else......I should have said no. Said if you want touch up a few spots on body and feet. He is shaved .no facial features, No fringe anywhere. His tail is a bald knob. I dont if his facial fringe will EVER grow back. Took Our dogs in the previous smaller location knew the name of the Groomer etc. Its now a mess. I called and they said they were sorry. This is not a Groom he is sheered like a sheep. I have never left a bad review Anywhere before. I didn't raise my voice....Im in tears please for your dogs sake do NOT go there. I won't go again EVER. read more

Amazing Service!! We bring our big hairy dog here for grooming and Heather always does an awesome job. We sometimes go to other places, but they just aren't the same. This review is for the Go Pet Go location at 152 and Oak Trafficway. The groomers were rude, didn't do a thorough dog and my dogs looked "chopped up." They also REFUSED to wear masks although we had informed them upon entering that my wife is immune-compromised. They are always quick to have their hands ready for our very generous tips. However, if you want them to practice Co-vid safety guidelines and be friendly and personable - move on. The manager was NOT sympathetic when we called to complain. No apologies, no offer for a discounted service and no sympathy. NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION at 152 and NORTH OAK. read more

I had several questions, and very picky dogs and they gave me (free) samples to ensure I found the perfect food! First time here for my big girl to get a nail trim. Heather was awesome. She was very informative and had a game plan on how to handle my dogs nails the best to help get them shorter over time. Her quicks are super long. I get them clipped every 2 weeks but wasn't doing much for length. Heather was super sweet and caring and I can tell she really cares and enjoys what she does. I'm very nervous about leaving my baby with just anyone. This was our first visit to Heather and she was great! Every time I've dropped him off at other groomers, they just take him, put him in the back and say they'll call when he's done. Heather introduced herself, explained the process and even talked to Chuy (which he loves ). I felt comfortable because I could tell that she really loves dogs. I know that my little guy can be a handful so I'm very nervous about leaving him. Heather was so kind she let me know that he was very anxious, which I really appreciated so that I can take measures to try to relieve his anxiety. She did not seem irritated at all she was very understanding and so nice about everything! I really appreciate her honesty and her love for dogs, she's the kind of person I could trust with my sweet little Prince! And of course Chuy looks so handsome! She did a great job cutting his hair despite his anxiety, he even got a bow tie AND a scarf!! We will definitely be going back! I've only met her once but Heather is BY FAR our favorite groomer! read more

We have used this location for grooming two times. The first trim was great. The groomer met with the dogs in advance and followed my requests. We normally trim the head, feet & legs, and rump only with clippers. I asked that the records show what was done for future grooms. The second visit was this week, but was not a success. It was the same groomer but did a VERY SHORT trim over the whole coat. This left the dogs looking like shorn sheep instead of a long-haired dachshund. The management did not offer any apologies or discount for the poor groom, but instead told us it will grow back. We most likely will not return. read more
