So when I moved this November I was looking for simple solutions and a friend suggested renting moving boxes from Dymon Box. Renting boxes to move all my worldly possessions does seem an odd idea at first, but turns out it was awesome. Dymon has different packages, but the best deal is 25 boxes for two weeks with free delivery and pick up. The boxes are large plastic bins with handles and lids. They stack wonderfully and are very sturdy--I have a mini-library so they had to stand up really well. Dymon cleaned the boxes before dropping them off and provided labels that were easy to attach and remove. In addition, they provided a cart to stack the boxes on--awesome! Absolutely loved having boxes with handles and a cart just the right size--the moving process was much smoother than with regular cardboard boxes. Dymon's delivery service for drop off and pickup was also great, they were on time and super friendly. They were flexible with moving the pickup time back as well, which made my life easier. I really liked having reusable boxes and that I didn't have a stack of cardboard to get rid of at the end of the move. The only down side to the boxes for me was that, because they are rather large, I couldn't fill them with heavier items, like books, so I had to be a bit more creative with my packing to distribute the weight more evenly. Renting moving boxes is the thing to do!

When we dropped by to chat with the manager, he actually told us we didn't need to purchase the larger unit (which was quite a bit pricier) and would be able to fit all our stuff (almost our entire apartment!) into a smaller unit. He saved us a ton of money, which is awesome in an age where up-selling is the norm. Dymon gave us a free truck rental to move our stuff in - this was a HUGE money saver and convenient since it also came with a (lovely!) driver.T he front desk guys were super helpful and professional. All in all our move-in experience was totally non-stressful, which is a far cry from any other move I've ever made! They offer a ton of additional services including mail boxes, a conference room (which is awesome for feeding your moving helpers lunch!), a safe, and the option to purchase any kind of packing paraphernalia that you need (boxes, tape, etc.). As an added bonus, they also offer a service (similar to Kijiji) that will house any unused items you want to sell. You choose your asking price and they will post it, along with a photo, on their website. We went in once to make a payment and then again when we returned our keys, and the staff was once again super friendly and efficient. If you plan on storing some stuff between moves or just need a place to keep old stuff, drop by this place. Their spotless facility and awesome customer service is outstanding.

I requested to speak to someone in the moving department and I was told NO- unless I purchase the unit only then the head of the moving department will call me to answer any questions I have. I respectfully explained to the gentleman that I prefer to have all of my questions answered before I book and pay for the unit- and I was told NO.  I  told him that I don't feel comfortable paying for something without getting all the details but that didn't bother him. If as a business, you can't answer basic customers' questions to their satisfaction and are willing to lose approx. $300+revenue per month for 1 year- then I can only imagine the experience I would have in the future.  What are you hiding that you can't help answer basic move questions? Poor Customer Service- I rather pay more for a better customer experience!

Here are just some of the issues we were faced with: - The two movers (who showed up 1h15mins late) had NO tools with them, meaning no dolly, straps, tape or even gloves. Just two guys and their arms. This not only led to the move being slower than it should have been, it also exhausted the guys and led to damage to several of our items. - They weren't able to pack a 3-bdrm apartment in a 26' truck (nothing was stacked), leading to us having to go back for two more trips with our car after the 13 hours(!) it took for them to move our stuff. - We had to feed the movers because they were exhausted and hungry and didn't have enough gas in the truck to go somewhere to get food. - Their so-called "wardrobe boxes" are just large boxes they throw your clothes in, hangers and all. I've reached out to Todd several times since the move but he ignores my calls and emails and doesn't return any messages. *Stay away*

While the bistro is currently closed, there are numerous excellent restaurants nearby. I love the background music, decor, and ambience. One of the best aspects is that my dogs are welcome here, making it an inviting and flexible working environment.
