He NEVER returns a phone call, didn't request necessary state documents in a timely manner, the closing was put off for weeks because of his negligence and he had the nerve to start asking for things 3 weeks after an inspection was done, and a week before we were supposed to close. I didn't have a signed p&s for a month after the accepted offer because he was unreachable and wouldn't return messages from my attorney. Two thumbs down. I'd give him zero stars if I could.

My wife and I worked with Robert on a very complicated case. Before hiring him, we consulted with…read moremultiple attorneys. Every one of them tried to persuade us to file a Ch 13 because they believed our income was too high for a Ch 7. Robert was the only attorney who carefully reviewed our situation and felt we had a strong case for Ch 7. We ultimately decided to hire Robert, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Robert's preparation was incredibly thorough. He paid attention to every detail and followed a very structured process. At times, I honestly thought he was asking for more documentation than necessary. I didn't understand why he needed so much paperwork--until the hearing. While waiting for our case to be called, we watched several other attorneys struggle because they weren't prepared. The magistrate repeatedly reprimanded attorneys for their lack of preparation, and many cases had to be continued. When my wife's name was finally called, I was nervous that we'd run into similar problems. Instead, thanks to Robert's preparation, every document was in order and every question was answered immediately. Our hearing went smoothly without a single issue. Our case was completed efficiently and without any resistance from the court. Seeing firsthand how other cases unfolded made us appreciate Robert's attention to detail, preparation, and deep knowledge of the law even more. If you're looking for an attorney who will thoroughly prepare your case and give you the best possible representation, I highly recommend Robert Kovacs. We were fortunate to find him.

It took me a long time to do this as I wrote a very detailed email of what has transpired in my case. I also included four attachments as evidence of what I was talking about, no answer. I called him back on 2/19/24 AND sent him a 2nd email, nothing. My personal message to Attorney Ravosa: I am extremely disappointed with your unprofessional behavior. You failed to answer my two emails and did not return my call at a time when I was desperate for legal advice. This shows a complete disregard for the time and effort I spent putting together information at the last minute. Your lack of professionalism, compassion and empathy is deeply troubling. Given this experience, I would never recommend your services to anyone. Don't litter people's home with your phony propaganda that "we are here to help you" because you obviously didn't when I reached out nor did you have an ounce of decency to tell me that you weren't interested in my case. Things happen for a reason and I'm glad you decided to show your true colors because this case was way over your head. For whoever reads this review: if you need a lazy lawyer to fill out some bankruptcy forms on your behalf, then hire him. If you want an intelligent, competent, aggressive lawyer that will go to bat for you, then find somebody else!

The process was difficult and confusing for a first time home-buyer, but Michelle was very thorough and made sure I had all the legal protections in place. Michelle made herself available to answer questions throughout the process and took action to keep the closing date on time despite complications that would have otherwise delayed the process. I would turn to Michelle for representation in any legal matter in the future.

I paid my bill, fired him ( he did t seem to give an hoot) and moved on to settle the case on my own (which I did quite well!!!). If he felt the case was not something he could handle, he should have spoke up in the beginning and not waste my time or money. He earned his money and I got nothing!!!! I should Sue him for misrepresentation of services and get my money back!!! He came highly recommended to me by another attorney I know (who only handles real estate) so I'd like to highly un-recommend him to anyone reading this. Buyer beware. Thank you

RED FLAG WARNING ‼ I attended a webinar from this firm that…read morewas very useful. So I can recommend the firm for learning purposes. I actually had been planning to work with this firm to add an additional property into an existing trust and to establish an advanced healthcare directive. However, due to a busy schedule I had pushed out my official scheduled meeting several weeks. But then something came up and I needed to reschedule that appointment. While trying to do so, I mentioned why I had to reschedule and what I was looking for from the firm. At that point the person I spoke with attitude changed. She stated that their firm was unwilling to work with an existing trust but they could make me a new one. When I asked why she said that would be modifying another firms work and they won't do that; they would only be able to create a brand new trust for me. Really? That is completely ridiculous. The recording costs alone woyld be cost prohibitive, never mind the cost of their time. Reputable attorneys work with existing trusts all the time. This is a big RED FLAG. Trusts do not belong to the firm that created it, they belong to the trust and are managed by the trustee that is often the person who had the trust created. It is a huge RED FLAG, in my opinion, that this firm insists that a new trust must be created. The only way I can make sense of that is if they want to collect payment for establishing the trust, and every deed transfer. And/or they might want to be the trustee on the new trust -- which might ensure future and possibly on-going payments. If the latter were true, that would be an even bigger RED FLAG --as it would suggest that may have a financial reason to want such control. So, I highly suggest people do their homework before working with this firm. And if you decide to do so, I suggest that you compare services and costing from another law firm. And be especially wary if they suggest being the trustee! The final RED FLAG , is that they are a "high-pressure sales" organization, where salespeople aggressively pursue potential customers through repeated calls, texts, and emails. This approach is off-putting and given what I learned in my last conversation with them it has led to negative and suspicious perceptions of the business. This is the reason I just spent 15 minutes writing this review.
