Katz told me to "send me an email this is what I get paid for. I don't do consults. If you want to work with me you need to pay me." How would I even know if I do indeed have a case? Demanded $15,000 up front, for his law firm to arbitrarily eat off of, before reading the case and knowing if I even had a case. Quite shady and Very Sketchy, I am appalled, my mother is on 18 medications and I'm in need of guidance. I had called Mr David, only to be brushed off in a fraction of one minute, a 30 second phone conversation, leads to immediate rejection and denial. There is no conflict resolution as he only assumes this is a family matter to which he implies he wants no part of. Very awkward conversation as I have no confidence that during a pandemic period he has the desire or sound judgement to even establish a case. I have eliminated his potential services, will move forward to a powerful attorney in Beacon Hill Boston who is much more eager with promising results. I had clearly explained to Mr Katz, I was in need guidance on a business that is looking to recover lost rent during pandemic. Family or not family this should not make or break his motivation or lack there of to take action on the matter. All I can say Use at your Own risk. I have never in my 35 plus years had a brief awkward 30 second phone conversation with a supposed seasoned attorney. David has been incredible to work with. Let me be clear, no one works for free and his time is valuable. But right from the first consultation he was upfront about whether there was something there we could work on, How the process works and what I would need. And that's far more valuable, it's the reality check you need in a time of usually lots of hurt and unfairness: saves time and money on both ends too. make sure you don't request assistance online as you may have the misfortune of being forwarded to this law office for assistance. If your inquiry isn't an obvious financial windfall (you fill out a questionnaire in advance to determine the type of case and value), they won't waste their time or a phone call contacting you. Upon completion of the online assistance request, I received the form letter email "Hello, Thank you for chatting with us. Unfortunately, we are un ble to assist with this matter. We do appreciate you reaching out to us. If there is anythicng else we can help you with now or in the future, please do not hesitate to let us know. Thank you." I emailed immediately asking if they could please call me regardless and was informed by the almighty David Katz "I have no time for new cases Jill for the next month.
