We bought a used car from them and we paid over $430k for the car, the moment we signed, Joe Perillo the owner, who was our salesman as well stopped communicating. He would not answer my calls or text when it was necessary to communicate to provide information of the transporter company and their driver since we live in CA. He did not even respond to say okay I got it or anything like that, especially since these days a lot of scam transportation companies are out there and you should be careful. It would just take a second to reply okay but he failed to respond by even a text. Anyways, the car arrived in California, there was a few things shown in the photo that were missing. I have added the photo below. He would still ignore the calls and texts and disrespect us to the full extent. He would answer every call, and doesn't assign you to a salesperson or someone else so you can have them assist you. They are the worst and this car we bought we paid over 430k used. Also, he promised to cover 50% of transportation cost, he didn't. The transportation company waited for hours and he never paid what he promised that he will do. It was part of the deal. Please avoid this place as much as you can. Very bad experience, and the car has aftermarket parts that's likely been in an accident he is trying to hide even though the carfax didn't show anything. Don't recall the name of the person who greeted me - by greeted I mean a grunting head bob like greeting. I get they do that to athletes etc who shop here, but c'mon. They don't have any of the cars in stock right now but they can get one for me if I put down a deposit. So I had to ask why the website was saying something else? I visited Gold Coast yesterday. I was considering buying a Bentley and being a large purchase I decided to fly in from Los Angeles to inspect the car. The car was perfect. I met and enjoyed a nice visit with Joe the owner of Gold Coast and was dealing with Kane.. a salesman.. They could not have been more gracious, hospitable and professional. They made me feel welcome and never pressured me in the least. I came to the conclusion that the car was just not right for me. I have bought many high end cars over the years and cannot remember a single experience where I was treated better by a dealership than I was yesterday at Gold Coast... I inquired about a Ford Raptor they had for sale and I received the worst possible customer service I've ever had. Because it wasn't a Lambo or Bentley, the salesman, Chris Abbas, treated me like a second class citizen and straight out told me he didn't have the time to deal with the questions I had. He pointed me towards Instagram and other social media to "research" the vehicle. Undeterred by his attitude and lack of knowledge , I made an offer (sight unseen) and we agreed to a transaction. Negligence led to endangerment. (Downer Groves - Perillo) (Bentley Gold Coast) manager Dan Kern and Sales Rep Dimitrious Mitchell failed to rectify a significant issue that they caused. I purchased a vehicle from Downers Grove in August of 2019 - Bentley Gold Coast fitted the car with tires that placed myself, my family, and those on the road next to me in jeopardy. The tires they put on my vehicle could not sustain the weight of my vehicle. They were off (over-weighted) by 1600 pounds. The rating was a 95w. The proper tire-weight requirements are 105w rear and 101w front, for my car. Bentley Gold Cost's error led to stress cracks and additional warping of the tires within 3000 miles of driving. A quote from the shop I took my car into - to inspect the tires; "I can not believe they did not explode." I immediately called Bentley Gold Coast and reported the issue. I supplied them with a detailed email, including pictures of the tires (cracks, type of tires, etc.), a statement from the shop that replaced them, and proper load weight specs. I asked for Bentley Gold Coast to cover the cost of the tires. There email response from Dan Kern read, "We have concluded that no adjustment is warranted. The vehicle was sold to you last August, over seven months ago. There is no dealer warranty on tires." P.S. Bentley Gold Coast admitted to putting on the tires before purchase and still refused to rectify their negligence. read more

For God sake, do not buy a car here. Do NOT deal with Perillo. If you google him, his philosophy is "Treat the customer how you would like to be treated". Funny thing is, he treated me like garbage. He is a Con-Man. I purchased a car from here and he promised to ship the car to me as I live across the country. It has been 1 month since the agreement was finalized. I have paid in full already, but my car is not here. I found out that Perillo was lying to me about the shipment company, because he told me every week they are coming to pick up the car and they had to reschedule. But I found out the company, called them, and they said he gave them a low-ball offer to pick up the car so they never agreed to ship it! When I call him and email him, he is rude and says I am wasting his time. When I say my car has been paid in full and he agreed to ship it, he says he is a "very resourceful and diligent guy". I can use quite the opposite adjectives to describe him. He is a con-man. I am not sure if I am getting my $182,500 back I spent on my luxury car. It has been 1 month since I purchased it and he doesn't ship it. Each week he has a different excuse, and he tells me he will follow up but never does. Quite the service for buying a luxury car from this dealership. I have hired an attorney. UPDATE #1: The car was delivered, but with only 1 key, no mats, no books, as was supposed to be delivered. I am fighting with Pirelli now to get what is contractually owed to me. I will be suing him if I do not get the stuff soon, and he will have to pay for the fees of the prevailing party. He was trying to save pennies, now Pirelli's negligence will cost him thousands. UPDATE #2: The car was delivered, with damage that was not there when I saw it in person. The Illinois Attorney General is involved. AND, Bentley Gold Coast owned me $1400 and the Attorney General had them send me a check. I went to cash it and the bank told me it was a "bad check". The Attorney General has been notified and said this is the worst thing a company can do, send bad checks, and he has escalated this issue to the highest of civil courts in Illinois. read more

I travel around the country looking at cars for special clients in Michigan, that don't have time to do it their selves. Today I went into Gold Coast to look at a 911 Speedster. I walk in and the salesman inside asks if I need help, I told him I was browsing. After that I go up to him to ask a few questions. My first question is how many are for sale in the US. He responds with "I don't know we don't sell Porsche." Well there was 3 Porsche's sitting in the show room. My next question is "is this vehicle on consignment?" The response I got was shocking." "You ask too many questions, why do you ask so many questions?" After that I left the showroom. I was shocked to receive this treatment from a person who's job is to sell a car too me. I Informed my client about this and he insisted we find a car elsewhere. I assume I was treated this was because I am young and may not appear to have a black card in my back pocket, but you never know who you're talking too.. I've visited Gold Coast many times and have spoken to many nice gentlemen. But my experience today was horrible! Went to Gold Coast last month to test drive the new Maserati Ghibli. I can only describe the entire situation as odd. We met the sales manager who took us for a test drive. Easy enough. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to be very interested in selling the car and had limited knowledge on the tech and specs. When we got back to the showroom he had difficulty answer some if the most basic question and kept looking things up on Maserati's web site. He offered to email me a sales sheet...which arrived a week later. To add insult to injury, when I emailed and requested a formal quote with the specs I wanted he never responded. I bought my maserati here a couple of months ago and today I hit a pothole. I brought it in to have to check and reconfigure the error I have on my dashboard. Carlos from their repair show on illinois said it'll cost me $250 to check and re programed and it will take 5 hrs to do this and it is not covered under the warranty! I was very up set and called the maserati.com they referred me to maserati in lake Forrest. Within 3 hrs my car was error free and the man said it was covered under my warranty. Do not ever buy a car from this people. Once u buy a car from them that is it no customer service at all. All they car about is your money. I will also be writing to the manufacturer's corporate company and let them know that they are insulting the maserati 's reputation in the industry. This past Dec2013, I had the best day, test driving cars, the staff kept my husband happy serving him espresso's and bottled waters. I really had fun with Rich, he was easy going and never pressured me into one car over the other, I was super nervous on my first test drive, as I live in the 'burbs' & I am used to less traffic, less people crossing the streets, needless to say I was pretty turned around, like a fish out of water. But like a champ, I sped down Lake Shore Drive suspecting I might have given Rich a mild heart attack, but he was always smiling! It was a bucket list day for sure, jersey city girl test driving these cars. I left the dealership, I didn't make a purchase that evening. I told Rich I needed to think on it, surprising cool about it, no pressure follow up sales calls, long story short, my new baby graces my garage and every time I see her I beam with pride. I write this review with outmost satisfaction. When I first contacted the Gold Coast dealership I was skeptical to purchase a car from Chicago and have it delivered to Los Angeles. When I got on the phone with the manager Rich, I got a sense that these guys are honest and want to make deals and have clients return back to them. A few conversations later (Rich was always available to talk and answer questions in the friendliest and most professional manner), I had picked out what car I wanted to negotiate on. I even spoke with Joe the owner of the dealership. He just seemed like a nice guy that was down to earth and wanted to keep his clients happy. Impressive! When you are buying a pre-owned car without seeing it, you always wonder what you are getting. Somehow I was reassured when dealing with Rich and his staff that these guys are honest. He described the car in detail. He answered all my questions in detail. He made the transaction easy and pressure free. I finally got the car here in LA. It was in even a better shape than Rich had described it to be. I am thankful for this dealership's honesty and level of service. Now I know this is why this dealership sells long distance all day long. They do it right! I will be hopefully doing more business with them in the future. Trust builds relationships. First let me say that I am not even close to the target consumer of these types of automobiles. I don't even own a car. One of the friends hed a benefit here one night which I attended. First let me say that the venue is top shelf. They have a mix of Bentleys and Lamborghinis scattered all over. The music, drinks, and appetizers were excellent. They had their salesmen on staff just in case we had any questions about the merch. I did show interest in one of the Bentleys and the salesman was very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the car and the history. I found the conversation very fascinating. We talked for about 10 minutes even though he knew I was not in the market. First class establishment with excellent merchandise and service. P.S. I found it funny that the Lambos had at least a $3k/year tax for being a gas guzzler (9 mpg city, 14 highway). read more

IF YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. I took my Lamborghini to these guys on June 15th. They told me the oil pressure sensor MIGHT be bad but they didn't 100% know. Tom wanted me to pay $7500 plus the wiring for an additional $13,550. When I told him I had another estimate for $2020.98 from another Lamborghini shop. He got mad and charged me $500 for "Diagnosing" and after i told him Im going to tow my car to the other shop he agreed to fix my car for $2900. That included the oil pressure sensor, gasket, and some bolts. I told him I needed all the old parts back. Once he finished my car I requested him to provide me all the old parts the same second he was done. He told me the only thing he has was the oil sensor. All the gaskets and bolts, were never changed. He ended up charging me $3,699,75 for something they never did. Grand total $4,199.75 for something they never did. STAY AWAY FORM TOM BECAUSE HE LIES AND BELIEVES HIS LIES!! read more

Nothing is ever as good as it seems.... As a board member for a not for profit corporation, I sought out Bentley for our annual fundraising event (October 2009). Based on positive recommendations, we negotiated price and were treated very well (George gave us a tour and was lovely).... After several weeks, we finally met with the marketing manager (Nina) at the dealership. I had spoken and emailed with her several times up to this meeting. Prepared to hammer out a few more details and sign a contract, we were slammed with news that Bently was no longer able to honor the price without a contract nor were they willing to talk about ways to make this event work. What we were told is that there is new ownership of the dealership and these new owners want to compete with the Field Museum and other destination event venues. As cool as luxury cars are, Bentley will never even compare to venues like that. In order to be compared to those placed, the new owners made the venue rental price increase. Not only were we not able to afford the new price point, but we were told that the dealership would not be able to honor a special auction item that was promised. I would not recommend this location as a venue for their unprofessionalism and their disregard for those who give selflessly to better the lives of others. Bought a brand new 2017 Bentayga from here. I did the deal completely over the phone as I'm from Utah. My sales guy was Roland. I received the car with a oil change and service due from the first start up. Roland claimed it just needed to be cleared. This is a lie. I called about 5 times to Roland regarding questions and issues with the car within a week of delivery. Roland knew nothing about the car and couldn't walk me through anything I asked about operating the car. Additionally I've had several issues with the car and Roland will state he will check with his service guys and call me right back. To date I've never been called back one out of the 5 times I've called about different issues. This place is clearly a disaster and I made a huge mistake giving them my business. read more

I park my motorcycle nearby and left my lights on this morning. A couple clicks was all I could get from the starter when I returned after work. Seeing Gold Coast Bentley nearby, I walked in, explained my situation to the guy at the desk, and asked if they had a portable battery charger I could borrow. Without hesitating he set off to find one and handed it to me a few minutes later.
