Couldn't recommend Bentley Driveways any less. 1* is too generous. Resin driveway took ages to complete but fair enough legacy issues from covid and resin supply were blamed. Problems started to appear early 2023, pointing between edging blocks started to crumble and come away, leaving lovely conditions for weeds to grow thru. everything we wanted to avoid with a resin drive. First reported issues to Simon on 14 August 23, was promised was a quick fix and would be sorted asap, chased October....nothing, still waiting by christmas,(now the weather is blamed). Feb '24 im told will be fixed today/tomorrow, now its May '24 (almost) and the drive will never be sorted despite repeated calls and messages that were mostly ignored .So glad I spent £8000 of my hard earned money with these people. I now have to explore sorting the issue myself. But confident I can do a better job. Do not make the same mistake !!!!!! read more

DO NOT USE!!!!! Like others here, they'll take your money but disappear if you've got any issues afterwards. A repair to our driveway was done eventually within the 6 year warranty period, but bodged in the same way which caused the problem in the first place. The same problem occurred quickly after and it hasn't been fixed, as they've disappeared off the face of the earth. This company is the most unprofessional I ever dealt with. The biggest problem is Simon who is money greedy and tells lots lies. We spent a lot of money having our garden slabbed and the walls tiled. We also had a new lawn and hand rails. About 60% of the tiles fell off and a lot of slabs became loose. Simon arranged for repairs a couple of times then the lie's started and no one turned up. The hand rail posts were put in but the glass never appeared. The posts have become loose and have started to rust because of the poor quality. We have constantly called Simon and his side kick Mike who denies being part of the company but no one answers. Beware of this company as you will find very few reviews which is strange because they recon they have lots of work. They make out they are a professional company but once they have your money they don't want to know. read more

Where to start with Bentley Driveways? Had our driveway and garden patio laid by them. Not long after it was laid a crack appeared in the resin and the grouting between the stones started to breakdown. After months of chasing the grouting was addressed and the crack was repaired with a different colour resin which the owner tried to fob off as down to weathering of the original resin. Despite these claims they replaced the cracked resin a second time with a much better colour match. Unfortunately the grouting is cracking again and now a paving slab has detached on a step less than 6 months after it was laid, making it dangerous. We have tried to get Bentley Driveways round for 5 months sending emails and recorded delivery letters only to be met with silence or excuses. We are now looking for another contractor to carry out the repair work Unless you enjoy wasting money and being fobbed off I'd recommend going elsewhere read more

WARNING - NO NOT USE! Started the job back in October 2019, took a lot of money, went awol, returned after I threatened court action, "finished" the job (poorly may I add) and within months it was falling apart and has refused to return to repair it. bad bad bad save yourself the heartache and look elsewhere. these guys take a large up front deposit and then leave you hanging for absolutely ages before turning up at every stage. it really took sooooo long to get this job done. once it was done, it looked nice and when the guys were actually here, they were pleasant enough, but that's all I can say to justify the 1 star. soon after it was done, the driveway lights started leaking and tripped all outdoor lights for me, front and back. I contacted them in April and was led on for months before they finally, in October, completely stopped responding to my calls and messages. absolutely infuriating. I am now left to replace the crappy lights they gave us as part of an £30k job and have to pay someone to install them. Bentley are totally unprofessional. they (Mainly talking about Simon, the owner here) have the worst communication skills I've ever known. but I honestly think it is purposeful because they reckon they can just move on to the next job and take their next huge up front deposit to perpetuate their unacceptable behaviour. really, please don't! read more

We gave Bentley Driveways the job to redo our front drive. Initially everything was lovely, good salesman, workmen turned up two weeks later to do the work. Unfortunately, they have never returned to tarmac the last part. Using numerous excuses such as the cold weather, but now its 5 months later & still no tarmac, or snow! Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you want your job finished in less than a year, do not use this company. We had a complete house renovation with numerous trades in and out, and these, by far are the worst and most unprofessional we have had. They rely on payment from one job for the next, so will be chasing you for money immediately and then don't answer the phone when you need something from them. They must have serious cash-flow issues. The owner Simon is constantly gives pathetic excuses week after week as to why jobs are not finished - and that's when you're fortunate enough to get hold of him. Bentley Driveways completed our driveway(in the end - took months to finish) they were completing a resin driveway, wall to the front, and back patio. Ask for alot of money upfront £6000!!, then another payment once dug out and balance on completion. Amazing how the phone gets answered when they want money! Resin has cracked 18 months after, bricks has broken up and cement has broken up and disintegrated. Have been promised by Simon on numerous occassion that they would be back to fix the problem, since January 2019, still waiting, this man has more excuses than i could even think of. NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!.Actually had concerns to start off with and called him round to discuss, should have gone with gut feeling and just losed the first payment. This company relies on payments from the next customer to pay for materials so always working behind (that came from one of the employees!) Going to take further action now, as still refusing to acknowledge texts and calls. STAY AWAY. read more

Simon started my job in May 2018, by September the job was finished, weeks left as a building site, the slabs started to move, poor base, slabs not bonding to base, Simon was not interested in coming back, he said he would sort the problems, never turned up, sent registered letters, returned unread, this job was £15k, 5 year guaranty worth nothing, I have subsequently been told this is normal, had to spend £4K to have the problems fixed read more

Possibly the worst company I could have chosen to do my Driveway. Left a major bulk of the job unfinished and kept promising to return but never showed up. I ended up getting a reputable company to finish their work properly. The Director Simon Ellis has not been in touch despite several attempts to contact him. I would never recommend this company and would like to make others aware of the dangers of dealing with this firm. read more

Bentley Driveways installed my driveway which has sunk. Phoned them loads of times but they won't come back and honor the guarantee. Just found out they have gone into administration and since started a new company with the same name. Search Bentley Driveways reviews on Google and you will find many more very unhappy people. read more
