What a lovely stay. The staff were probably the loveliest staff I've experienced when staying in a hotel. Genuine, friendly, kind and couldn't do enough for you. They make the place what it is, otherwise could possible be a 3/4*.
The bed was mega comfy.
The room had everything you need, although not fancy, and quite plain, but didn't need anything else. The view was of the roof top, so nothing to see, but then again it's not like you sit in the bedroom just staring out if a window is is?!
It had a proper bathroom, and was a very good size.
Some of their rooms are dog friendly, so we took our Frenchie with us, and there was everything you needed for the pooch and he was welcomed as much as we were!
The chef at breakfast even cooked and cut up some sausages for him!
Breakfast room was average, but had everything you needed, and had a news channel on silent with subtitles, which was appreciated.
They have numerous items and breakfasts to chose from, cereals and fruits salad to help yourself with on the side.
I asked for sausage and bread, the waitress was like "for a butty?" And smiles and returned with a sausage sandwich!!!
There is a lovely function room with the exposed beams and white cloth covers, with a small bar, food service area and toilets and a dance floor.
Outside there's lovely views, seating, and ample parking.
Loved staying here, but the fanciest place but really felt welcome and looked after and they wins out every time! read more
