Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

The pub is cosy and friendly, and in a great location for walkers and cyclists on the Tissington trail. The breakfast was sizeable and delicious and the hosts were laid back and incredibly accommodating. We were only stopping through for a couple of days, but still managed to pack in an afternoon of ales, cider and pool at The Cock and Pullet pub. It's a charming little pub chock full of classic English heritage. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the selection of ales, ciders and beers were most superb. If you find yourself up in this beautiful neck of the woods (it's literally right in the middle of the picturesque Peak District),I'd highly recommend that you stop in for a Tipple!
