The jewelry were bright and bold and evoke such Betsey Johnson vibes except with an emphasis on acrylic as their creative medium. We entered the store and oh my goodness everything was so eye catching - both in terms of designs as well as color palette. If you're a gal (or guy) who loves subdue understated jewelry this isn't the shop for you, as everything is extremely playful and witty. There were multiple items I wanted to purchase; however, the pricepoint is much higher than what I am use to; yet, you can think of it as paying for the design, and the fact that it's handmade by UK individuals. The smaller designs range in the £50 - £150 whereas the really stunning statement pieces around £200-£400. The extremely orange pieces can go up to £500+ I ended up getting a really beautiful blue parrot statement necklace that I'm sure would be a head turner. Due to work, I very rarely wear a lot of jewelry. At minimum, I'll wear diamond studs or pearl earrings, a simple necklace and a wristwatch. Also because I tend to have sensitive skin, I can't wear a lot of trendy or costume jewelry, so I have to stick to precious metals. Therefore, I gravitate towards classics pieces with unique characteristics. Monica Vinader's pieces are globally inspired, and her siren stacked rings speak to me. I have some of the world's daintiest hands (my piano teachers reminded me of that at every lesson), and her jewelry are so effortlessly classic, beautiful, delicate and unique. I came in originally looking to buy a couple of rings. However, after trying a few combinations with the help of the boutique manager, I ended up leaving with three... Oops. The boutique is impeccable, and they have most of the standard sizes in stock. Custom sizes take 6-8 weeks to order and there is a £10 fee. I contemplated getting a half size up, but decided getting one size up for my middle finger was actually perfect, and the other two rings for my ring finger a size smaller. Service was friendly and most helpful - like the trivial question of which looks better on olive skin: yellow or rose gold? The boutique manager actually suggested mixing the yellow and rose gold on my skin, which actually work. Delighted with my purchases, and I definitely won't hesitate to return for future indulgences.

Told myself for years I'd just go to their Los Angeles store but never did. It's so much more special getting a piece here though as the Great Frog originated here. Staff member named Jaws helped me out and was a lovely human being. Approachable and helpful, not pushy but made me feel good about my purchase. Walked me through sizing me for a ring and talked prices and shipping. Also was friendly that we got off topic talking about life and overall just a nice person who made the experience A+.
