Those glowing orbs in the hills are actually sports halls..!! They look so odd to anyone who has never been there - but if you are looking for a sports centre, or a function room, then see if Bentham can give you what you need.
Betham consists of two domes which are basically inflated plastic covers!! There is a big 5-a-side football league here, but they also have facilities for netball and hockey.
The domes are cold, unless you can park yourself near to the hot air blower that keeps the domes inflated!!
There is a bar and a function room here too - but you might want to make sure that your special day isn't on the same day as any football.
There is a fairly large car park here too, and it's very easy to find.
Cheaper hire rates than many sports facilities, but Bentham does get VERY busy!! read more
