We went out for a couple of hours which was perfect. The weather was cool and damp and had the sun peaked out more we might have stayed out longer (we didn't prepare as well but will next time). One bike had a basket and all the bikes had a place to put a water bottle which was handy. We did a quick test run with the ebikes and that was fun. I may want to try one in the future. Having a local rental is great as they maintain and store the bikes and we can take them out on occasion.

I also knew I was most likely going in for a cannondale hybrid type road/smooth trail/gravel bike. He showed me some different brands and styles and I was able to take them for a spin in the parking lot. Marc has been there for a long time and he knows his stuff. He knows the history of each brand and he will tell you which one is the best among them. He is a bit on the quiet side, so you have to ask your questions. I also like that he took my mongoose in and gave it a tune up. I bought that bmx Mongoose from Fb marketplace for $30. It was in rough shape and he tuned it up and got her moving nicely. I settled on the cannondale and he put together the medium frame. I'm at the tall end of the small frame and just felt more comfortable on the medium frame. It was a great experience and I will go back to the shop again when I need bicycle supplies. I'm always in favor of supporting the local guy. HIs prices are comparable to online and you get that people experience that you would miss out on by ordering online.
