Searched for a dessert place near his work on Yelp that offered delivery. Masterful offered FREE delivery within the area! Amazing. Ordering was super easy. I called but the line wasn't going through so I messaged them on Instagram and received a response/call shortly after. Advised I needed a dozen cupcakes, she told me the flavors available, and I chose marble with vanilla frosting (the safest bet IMO to feed a group of employees). You could customize the frosting color but I opted out. They were nice enough to even add custom lettering! Shortly after all the details were confirmed, she sent an invoice via PayPal (she asks what the preferred method of payment is). Pricing is extremely reasonable. The day of, they texted a photo and asked if I wanted to add a special note (which I did). Now I wait for my boyfriend to tell me he received his surprise birthday delivery like a giddy little girl waiting to go to Disneyland for the first time. Such a pleasant experience and it means so much! Highly recommend to make your loved ones feel extra special, no matter the occasion.

I rolled the dice on the Good Cake Company for a very, very, very important occasion--my grandbaby's second birthday. Here's the wild part: I'd never tasted her cakes! The day I placed the order, I was on day three of a five‑day fast. No samples. No safety net. Just and--if I'm being honest--a little prayer. If you're short on time, I'll get straight to it: her cakes are exceptional! Now, if you're still reading, here's what truly sets them apart: you actually get cake! I am DONE paying top dollar only to slice into a cake that's mostly buttercream and crumbly cake. (I really want to name names! I am thinking of two very "popular" bakeries that are all hype and marketing. ugh) The cake was fabulous--perfectly moist, NOT TOO SWEET, yet sturdy enough to support a generous layer of high‑quality cream cheese frosting in the middle and buttercream on top. My daughter doesn't even like cake. She loved this one. I love this pastry chef--her spirit, her craftsmanship, her product. I'm already looking forward to ordering again. So run--do not walk--to this bake shop. She has a customer for life.

Some of their frosting/cakes can be quite sweet, but they hit it out of the park with their strawberry whip cake! The cake is filled with soft whipped cream between every layer from top to bottom. There's also chunks of strawberry and the cake itself is soft, airy, and moist. It doesn't look the most aesthetic, but it's my favorite by far! Well done!

After looking over the options in the display case, I bought the following three Bundtlets: the Red Velvet, Oreo Cookies & Cream, and Classic Vanilla. Honestly, I did not particularly enjoy any of them. The cake was too soft while the cream cheese frosting was too sweet for my taste. I would give the Bundlets 3 stars. The service, on the other hand, was too notch. When I walked into the shop, there were customers ahead of me being assisted, but out of no where, another employee popped out to assist me. She was very nice and provided helpful information on how to special order Bundt Cakes. The service was 5 stars. I know Bundt Cakes and Cupcakes are different types of treats, but I was kind of hoping this place would fill the void that Sprinkles left when it went out of business. Disappointed that it didn't.
