I highly recommend this business!! If you have not been to Bennisson Watch Repair, and are wondering where to get your repairs done, go there. I came with two watches I'd been given many years ago; one a Thourneau and the other a Boume & Mercier. I needed to have someone advise me, as I was thinking of eventually selling them and my online research was not able to give me the information I sought. I went to this business because of the Yelp ratings; now I too want to add my 5 stars. The watches were carefully looked at (including the mechanism) and evaluated. Everything was explained, I was able to take notes. One watch got a new battery. I could not believe how low the price was! I'd wanted to pay for the owner's (Howard) time, but he would not charge me. On a personal note: I was born in Europe and when I walked into this shop, I felt at home. I was reminded of the wonderful Master Watchmakers, who repair watches and consider it more than just a job; they have love, enthusiasm and a vast knowledge of their craft. It's very different than a large, impersonal and super expensive store, isn't it? Please support this business. You are better off with these trustworthy men. read more

Went back for a new watch band for a very sentimental watch, so now I know where to bring it if I ever have a problem with it. And got a little education about two old watches I have. Horrible! What went from "I'll do it while you wait" turned into 3+ weeks w/o ANY correspondence from Bennison. I guess unless you have a $50K watch there is no urgency to get it done VERY biased towards expensive watches. Little guy doesn't have a chance. Avoid at all costs. read more

I was weary to have someone repair a Grandfather clock that has been in our family for 45 years. It was transported down from New England and had stopped working. This team came into our home and went right to work. eXTREME professionals, very knowledgeable, and gave me some great tips. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. WORST PLACE EVER!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! I never write reviews but I had to do it this time. I can't let anyone else go through the same nightmare. Howard and Ian, wow.....where to start. I had call Howard asking him to replace the hands, pushers and crowns for my Omega Vintage watch with parts I had purchased myself and that were NOS Omega parts. He assured me he was Omega authorized and qualified to do this job. I brought the watch to his shop were I also met Ian , his apprentice. After talking to Howard for a few minutes about the details of the job I realized Howard had no idea what the difference was between pushers and crowns, That should have been my first clue to run far away with my watch but I decided to give him a chance. ( my BIG misstake ). They told me 2 weeks and assured me I would be pleased. So a week and a half went by and Howard called me with a HORRIBLE attitude telling me that my parts were all wrong and that I was waisting his time. After talking to him for 15 minutes and explaining him that those were indeed the correct parts from Omega he went to his computer and checked ( you would think he would have checked that before calling me, WRONG ) and agreed that they were correct and asked me for one more day to work on my watch. The next day I called Howard and again with a horrible attitude he told me that there was nothing he could do for my watch and I should come to pick it up. So I did. ( 1 hour drive) When I arrived he had no clue who I was and the first thing that came out of his mouth when I walked into his shop was that he was in a horrible mood and stressed out because his apprentice Ian had just messed up the back case of a $5000 Breitling because he has no idea what he is doing and that he was in big shit (actually his words). I asked for my watch and checked it realizing that after working on my watch Howard or Ian did not put it back the proper way, the chronograph second hand would now not re-set to the proper position. They agreed to fix it saying that it would be done by the end of the day. I had told them that i was leaving town for a week and I needed my watch back and they assured me it would be done before I left. By the end of the day I had no heard from them so I called and Ian told me that Howard was having a hard time fixing it ( remember, he broke it) and that It would not be done. I was now upset. This watch is 45 years old, It was given to me by my father and It was in perfect condition before I brought it to Howard. After arguing for a few minutes with Ian I heard Howard screaming and yelling like a lunatic on the background cussing at me telling me to F**** OFF. Unbelievable. I was leaving town the next morning and my watch was all opened up so I had no choice but to leave it with them and pray that he would fix it and not ruin it even more. I got back after 5 days and called them asking about my watch, Ian assured me it was fixed and had been checked and to come and pick it up. I drove there ( 1 hour ) and Ian was there, gave me my watch. I checked it and surprise!!! now the minute hand of the chronograph was not center properly and the watch was scratched. They messed it up again. I showed it to Ian and he now tells me that when he got my watch he didn't check it and that MAYBE it was already broken....UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! He told me he would not work on my watch any more and told me to leave his store. Howard never came to face me and was hiding on the back of the store the whole time. So unless you just want to change your watch battery or the band I would NEVER NEVER bring you high end piece to BENNISSON, they have NO CLUE what they are doing. You are safer taking your watch to the mall kiosk. Good luck. A very unhappy customer with now a broken watch. read more

Howard, Guillermo, and Hillary are very professional, very friendly and accommodating. I came to this shop to have my vintage Tudor Rolex submariner checked out. Howard explained to me every detail about the watch which shows his great attention to detail. Howard definitely loves what he does and very passionate about watches. This place is great. Took two older clocks in for repair/oiling and they did a great job. I have a cuckoo clock that needed work done, then when I picked up I was telling him about another clock that was my grandmothers and her mothers before and he told me to bring in for an oiling (free of charge). Now both are in tiptop running condition. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. Their prices were excellent, too. I've taken clocks elsewhere and been totally ripped off, but not this time. read more

There was a slight issue with my Movado watch when I took it in to get the battery changed, Howard tried to fix the issue, which was something I believe was already wrong with the watch likely from a previous battery change or someone else who worked on the watch in the past, regardless, Howard wanted to make it right for me. While doing so, something else broke and Howard fixed the entire watch and the battery no charge, he did not have to do this, because I still believe the original issue may have already been like this, but I am not watch-part-savvy or good at understanding how these things work. They are highly professional, kind and I would highly recommend them from battery changes to any sort of watch repair. I also took 2 watches of my boyfriend's and they did a great job of fixing them with reasonable rates. Many services are done while you wait. A great asset to West Palm Beach! read more

They were honest and professional and fixed my watch while I waited. I had taken it to another watch place for a new battery but it didn't work after when I took it back and told them I thought it was a bad battery. He said it needed to be cleaned for $150!I Could not afford it and I thought he was dishonest. So I took it to Bennisson Watch and Clock and they confirmed that the battery was bad and that my watch mechanism did not need to be cleaned and was not the kind that could be cleaned! But if it ever did break it could be replaced for about $50.! I'm so happy to have my watch working again! read more
