I think mid 20's which was ok for a littke while. After about an hour into it my ears and fongers were starting to feel numb. The indoor recreation center had not opened yet and I think that would have been better fun for everyone. They do a great job in terms of the maintenace andnthere was also no trash around like what younwoukd see at some other parks in the city. Plus this park and rec center was ckose to where we were at. The…read moreoutdoor area contains several different sections...there's a tot pool, splash pad, obstacle course, pool wall climbing, shallow side, deep end, ample seating, covered shaded party area, and plenty of lifeguards. Not gonna lie, the lifeguards kinda run the pool like a prison yard but it's important to watch and monitor the kids for safety. Allentown Splash is 10 times better than what I expected and way better than ole faithful in Glendale. There is a line outside due to staffing, they do check bags which causes a slight delay but keeps everyone safe. Younger kids will have to pass the swim test to down the water slide. Some sections were closed I noticed or maybe the kids didn't want to go on that side...who knows.

The tennis center has a variety of courts, including the main courts and several smaller courts, which I thought made it a great location to host the DC Open. The facility is very spacious, and there are plenty of bathrooms available throughout the center, which was definitely convenient with such a large crowd. The only downside for me was the parking situation during the event. Parking wasn't the easiest to navigate, but I'm assuming that on a regular day when there isn't a major event happening, parking is much easier and accessing the courts is more convenient. Overall, I thought this was a great venue for the DC Open, and I enjoyed my experience visiting the tennis center!

There were several children from tennis camps in attendance and they actively engaged them and imparted encouraging words. I had a great time. There were several food and drink vendors aswell as brands offering free samples. The food was delicious. I loved the lobster rolls from the oyster bar. I had a great time at the DC Citi Open and highly recommend it. On-site parking is available.

The exercise equipment works well and the gym is generally not crowded in the morning. Sorry the hours changed from opening at 7AM to 9AM but the new schedule works for me. Bring your own food...the food there is not worth the money..but they do serve hot dogs..chips and water and gatorade.
