I, of course, understand that weather is out of everyone's control and will cause delays. in NC storms are rarely even a week long event. But 3 weeks later my furniture had still not been picked up. I contacted the company and was told they could pick it up in a few days, would give me $100 off the price and would turn it around in 2 weeks. I explained that I was moving in 5 weeks, so I would need them to commit to the 2 weeks. I waited another week before the pieces were finally picked up. I immediately got a bill for the balance and there was no $100 credit. 3 weeks later I contacted them again to confirm the delivery and was told they needed a few more days, which I agreed to. then a week later I called and told them I needed the pieces in 4 days. there was no apology but they said they would commit to deliver the pieces the day of my move in the morning. they did not deliver until 4:00 pm. I immediately got a bill for the full amount due, no $100 discount again and a charge for replacing 5 pieces of wood which they did NOT replace. One of the 4 posters snapped on the foot board about 1/3 of the way up and then again at the top, as well as having small pieces splinter off, so you could see into the unstained wood. John gave us a reasonable estimate, completed the work diligently, and took care of moving the footboard in and out. He even helped us set up temporarily bracing for the bed while the footboard was being repaired. When we got our footboard back, I was SHOCKED at how good it looked. I had low expectations because of the severity of the breaks and splintered pieces, not because of John's ability. IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS NEVER DAMAGED AND YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW! The stain is well-matched, holes are filled in, and we had to even get down and stare for a couple seconds to find where the wood originally snapped. My grandparents gave us this bed, so I was devastated when it broke, but now I'm so happy to have it fixed!

This was a trick for me to believe that he was going to redo my flooring then he was going to turn that paper over to the credit card company and not come out and do the flooring and leave the warped flooring in my home because that's all he can do with it.
