At one point,…read morewe believed their services were too expensive, so we decided to switch to another local accounting company that offered a lower price. Unfortunately, that decision ended up costing us much more. The new company never kept our accounting records up to date, and we constantly dealt with late filings, penalties, and interest charges from various agencies. The few dollars we thought we were saving ended up costing us many times more in penalties and unnecessary stress. After experiencing those problems, we returned to Go Tax & Accountant Services, and the difference was immediate. Within just three weeks, Gary Ortiz and his team were able to organize our accounts and obtain Certificates of Good Standing from all the state and federal agencies that required compliance. What we learned is that quality accounting services are an investment, not an expense. Go Tax provides professional service, accurate reporting, excellent communication, and most importantly, peace of mind.

Nakata Consulting is an essential piece of my business life!!…read more But for the rest of this review let's just be on a first name basis and talk about Joe. I would have probably given up the whole self employed business long ago if not for Joe. I found Joe through some other colleagues in the Boston photography network years ago. I'll admit I was more than clueless about how to keep my bookkeeping organized and he took me under his wing, took the chaos and made sense of it all. Now I do most of the bookkeeping on my own and he gives it a look once a month to make sure I'm on track. In a "teach a man to fish...." sort of a way. Monthly, quarterly and annual taxes are a breeze now and I can confidently make business purchases and know the overall health of the business. If you're a small business (he has a keen knowledge of the photography business - take a look at his client list!! http://www.nakataconsulting.org/links.php ), but also for restaurants, etc... He'll do your sales taxes, bookkeeping, consulting and all at reasonable rates. I've referred him to friends (non-business owners) as well and he'll definitely take care of you. So walk right past H&R Block and call Joe!
