I did a ton of research to find a photographer/videographer for my engagement photos and wedding. For me it was important to have a team that not only had the ability to capture everything but also be able to do it in an artistic way and play with lighting, angles, etc. I had high expectations but wow they far exceeded them! Our photos and video ended up looking so editorial and straight out of a bridal magazine. For the engagement shoot they helped with picking the location and helped direct us to get some amazing shots and footage. For wedding day they were the best, super professional, showed up on time and got all the shots we wanted in the needed time, throughout the event they seemed to be in all places at once capturing so many lovely moments between us as well as all of our guests while also never being in the way! Furthermore they have a great energy, they are nice, fun and have a calm cool energy which is very important wedding day! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing photos & Our favorite wedding vendor!…read more We highly recommend Mike and Brynn! Fell in love with their work as soon as we saw their portfolio; love how absolutely gorgeous, organic, fun, and real the photos turned out. They were, without a doubt, our favorite wedding vendors by far. From the initial contact to scheduling engagement photos, wedding day details, and just any general inquiries (both before and after the wedding day), Brynn was always flexible with timing for phone calls and amazingly responsive via email. During the photo sessions, Mike was super energetic and you can tell he loves his job (which really shows in the photos that he delivers). He showed up early for both the engagement photos and wedding day and clearly "did his homework" by scouting out the area and was ready to hit the ground running. On the wedding day in particular, Mike was organized and very professional - on walkie talkie with the second shooter, even communicated with videographers, and helped us stay to the schedule perfectly!

They were professional yet very personable and made us very comfortable for what would have been an unnatural setting for us. They were able to incorporate all the things that we wanted and found just the perfect place to take our engagement photos. I loved every single moment of it! They're great at providing suggestions on where to stand/how to pose. We also took photos at a park on the day of the wedding and the photos came out gorgeous. All the photos were so great that it has been so hard to pick only a few for our wedding album! (Sorry guys - It's still on our to do's! My mom has not stopped asking me about it since this day!) But seriously, I loved all my photos! Also, for those of you who have trouble with checking in with your vendors, they do a great job at reconnecting and reminding you when your shoot is and tips on what to bring/wear, etc. Thank you Cam and Tracy! It was wonderful and so easy to work with them! We went to a few places that were special to us to capture the video. Charles and Kristine got so many great shots and did a beautiful job directing us. My husband and I are both very awkward and never know what to do in front of a camera, but they were able to work with us and help us out. They went the extra mile to get the shots they needed. The audio in the background was just as amazing! We told them what style of music we like, and they picked the PERFECT song for the video. I also thought our voiceovers from the interview part were going to be awkward, but they put in the best parts of the audio clips, and it all flowed beautifully with the film. If you're looking for someone to capture video for something special, whether it's a save-the-date or a wedding, this team would be a SWEET choice!

They photos were sharp, clear, vivid, creative and overall wonderful!! If you're thinking about hiring Jove and Annie to shoot your wedding or any event, then stop thinking about it and start booking them! A+! Would hire again The longer and more detailed review: Let me tell you, they must be Buzz Light year fans because they went to infinity and beyond for my wife Katie and I for our wedding! To Kick things off, they organized two Skype meetings with us so that we could meet and put faces to names. They went out of their way to learn about us, our story, and our big day. We also discussed what we wanted captured, how we wanted it captured, what was important and what wasn't. They were very flexible with our busy schedules and made it a priority to chat face to face. They also helped cater their preexisting packages to meet our budget and get us the types of shots we wanted. After that they reviewed our wedding time line and made suggestions of how, when and where to capture different types of photos. Everything from the father daughter first look, to bridal party shots, and extra post-ceremony shots. On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time and with huge smiles. Being a husband a wife team, they were able to split up with Jove hanging out with the guys as we got ready and Annie with the girls. They had great ideas of unique photos to capture with bridesmaids and groomsmen and they didn't miss a single moment or article of clothing or jewelry. They also beautifully organized and captured our first look. Jove coached me on where to stand and Annie took the time to make sure Katie's dress looked perfect right up to the moment before Katie tapped me on the shoulder. During the ceremony, they both went from photographers to ninjas because they vanished into the shadows as they captured every single moment perfectly and unobtrusively! They got smiles and tears and laughter and all kinds of candid moments. They worked in a way to make themselves completely unknown to me or any of the guests. This was really important to me because I didn't want to be distracted by a couple of cameras buzzing around. Seriously, if they ever decide to stop taking photos they should definitely move to Japan and become full time ninjas, they are THAT GOOD! After sunset, the amazing photos kept on coming! They strategically placed small flash units around the venue to insure that every photo was beautifully lit. Seriously, it looks like a team of hardcore union electricians lit every one of our photos. They were perfect! Nothing blurry, nothing dark, only spectacular photos across the board. The last special moment was when they approached us towards the end of the evening and asked us if we wanted to sneak away for 10 minutes for a few night portraits. Me, being the photo nerd that I am, looked at Katie and nodded my head and we snuck off. They then surprised us with a great location, a camera already set up for a long exposure and an 8 foot LED bar where they painted light around us. It was totally unexpected, unplanned and completely above and beyond for them to bring out extra toys! If you're still reading then kudos to you! They were amazing and went far beyond what I expected from my wedding photographers. I wanted the best and I got better!!

Husband and wife photography team that we used for our engagement and wedding photos. They are…read moreextremely responsive, take pride in their work, flexible, and on top of all that, affordable! Our wedding was in Maui, so since it was a destination wedding (they're based in Southern California), they gave us a free additional photo session in Maui (our pre-wedding session). We shopped around for a good photography team, since that's really all you have left after the wedding. Some things that we saw that differentiated this photography team from others, is that they didn't cap the # of hours that they spent with you--they just cared that they got good shots and ultimately that we got what we wanted. Our engagement session definitely ran long, as we were high maintenance and wanted photos in a lot of spots, but they were super patient and happy to take whatever photos we wanted. They are also very personable, and made us feel comfortable while they were taking photos of us (my husband and I aren't big on pictures, so that's saying a lot!). Their pricing is also extremely reasonable--you'll find that with other photographers, flash drives of your photos (some photographers even charge you $ for each photo), photo albums, and all the "extra" stuff will cost you a ton on top of the package fee, but this isn't the case for Jovanni. The photo albums are of amazingly fancy quality, with lay flat binding, and the flash drive that they gave of all (not select, but ALL) our photos was in this fancy case with fabric and made of some kind of clear engraved glass--fancy! Jovanni's package (at least the package we got, which wasn't even the most expensive package) included: engagement session, engagement photo album (many use as the guest book), pre-wedding session, rehearsal luncheon session. wedding session (full day--unlike many others who only give you ~5 hours and charge you extra for any additional time), wedding photo album, huge photo canvas of a photo of our choice, all pictures on both a flash drive and a DVD (1 DVD for each session). Highly recommended!

Erica not only ensured great communication with the wedding couple, but went out of her way to provide all packages that the couple felt comfortable affording and desiring.
