I was going to visit my mom late Friday and i was driving 2 hours across route 6, about 20 miles…read morebefore I got to Towanda, my serpentine belt snapped on my my truck. At 1st I thought it was the water pump. I was kinda broke and wasn't looking forward to a big repair bill. Monro Muffler gave me an estimate of nearly 500 bucks to replace the water pump. I went to Fulmer's and young mechanic helped me get my truck from off the side of the road into their garage. I asked him to double check it was the water pump and I was wrong....thank you God! He told me i needed to replace the belt and the idler pulleys. Much, Much cheaper then a water pump. They even let me go to the local advance auto parts and buy my own parts so they didn't have to mark up everything. They fixed my truck, good as new and saved me a ton of me. He wrote out a receipt on paper plus sent a copy of the transaction to my phone so I could submit it for reimbursement through my insurance company. Honestly I never even looked at the price until I got home and I was amazed at how reasonable it was compared to past experience with other towing companies in the area. As a side note, their business as well as others recently have been experiencing difficulties with Google. Luckily for me I removed Google Chrome from my phone and used my Samsung phone's internet search to find them.
