Straight out of Oxnard .. traveling around the 805 offering delicious tacos!…read more I have had their tacos a few times and really enjoy them. They are a mobile taco spot so you can reserve for parties . My amiga inquired how much they charge and it's not expensive. They have an IG page , follow them there. I tried the asada and Al pastor . Very yummy . The salsas are delicious too ! They keep their cart clean and the al pastor is on a rotating broiler .. just as it should be! Tacos can be topped with all the usual suspects .. amazing !

I was able to try their tacos at a wine room located up in Ojai. I inquired where they were from and they told me Oxnard, CA. I was thrilled to hear that they were "locals" given we were all the way up in Ojai and wasn't sure how to gauge where they were out of. It appeared to be a father and son duo working this event I went to but don't quote me on that. Regardless the two gentlemen were very nice and professional. Their taco catering business is able to handle a lot of customers which also had me super impressed. Nothing worse than waiting in a long catering taco line but that doesn't happen with Tacos Perez. They are prepared and kept the lines moving, I honestly didn't have to wait as they kept cranking out fresh batches of meat and keeping it moving. Checking out their website they have a variety of protein options. At the event that I went to they were serving up the stables, three meats - chicken, asada and pastor. Not being much of a chicken person I went with the beer and pork. Omg were those tacos heavenly! Some of the best street tacos / catering tacos I've ever had off a taco cart. I was addicted and went back for seconds. The meats had really good flavor and the tortillas tasted homemade. I'd definitely consider using them for a party in the future. I talked to one of the gentlemen and he told me they have a 30 person minimum for service but otherwise I would inquire within their instagram or phone number if you're interested in using them. The setup was clean and professional, nice guys cooking and the food delicious!

The hot dogs looked appetizing, and Rachael + her Mom said they were very good, but for 7 bucks I opted to pass. My Mango + Strawberry Smoothie was refreshing -- slightly on the sweeter side - - but IMO not worth the 6 bucks. Just my luck. It's not bang for the buck, but if you're starvin' marvin and are in need of some tasty mystery meat, then definitely give the hot dogs a try - - they did look good. Skip the nachos. I gotta admit the Chicago Dog tempted me, but alas, I had a smidgen of satisfaction as I paid $1.50 for my 1/4lb hot dog + 20oz drink @ Costco. Yay!! In summary it's just "A-OK" in my book.

A food truck with one guy taking orders and making them isn't efficient. Especially on a Friday night. Another guy eventually came but the wait was well over what it should be. Since there's one man running the truck, I didn't see any hand washing in between orders/prep. I tried not to think about it because I was hungry.

Filipino food truck? Say less…read more The couple working the truck (the owners, I assume) are very sweet and friendly. Even when busy, they keep the atmosphere light and lively. Service is incredibly fast. They have a small bar attached to the truck that you can stand and eat at if there's room. Not too extensive of a menu, which I actually appreciate. What they do offer is a good variety of proteins, sides, and meal types (bowl, burrito, taco). The food comes out piping hot and is full of classic flavors. Nothing felt too greasy. Some garlic rice can be too potent for my taste, but theirs is delicious. Highly recommend the beef steak and chicken adobo rice bowls! Prices are fair to slightly expensive, depending on what protein and meal type you order. 10/10 would love to eat here again. Will be keeping an eye out for them!
