Staff is CONDESCENDING AND AGGRESSIVE. Please watch out for ambitious dental assistant staff that believes they are medical practitioners and like to speak to patients with a condescending attitude. I have no complaints about the dentists themselves, there is a certain assistant there who always has a very snarky and condescending attitude towards patients, and made me feel uncomfortable both times I had to go into this office. When I had questions about how to take care of my mouth after my procedure, this specific assistant was very rude and had an aggressive tone, and she made me feel absolutely uncomfortable about being at this office in the first place. I will make sure my family and my friends stop coming to this practice as clearly this assistant thinks that because she has some authority, that she can go around treating patients like third class people. It's crazy how the assistant felt the need to talk to other staff about my mouth in front of others with no regard to client confidentiality or regard to anyone other than herself and how good of a person she is. Do so much better. Absolutely dreadful experience. And on top of that, this dentistry is notorious for calling people last minute for appointments that same day, then CANCELLING THEM THREE MINUTES LATER. read more

My family has been Dr Sun's patients for a long time prior to him moving his office to current location in Westlake Village. When you enter Dr. Sun's modern, dental office, you will be welcome by many friendly staffers. Scheduling and payments are as easy as an A, B, C, and if you have questions, you may call Alexa (real-live & not Amazon digital assistant) for the answers. Dr Sun is very cognizant and patient (pun intended) with his many patients. His explanation of technique and operations are in layman's terms for ease of understanding; his recommendations, and corrective repairs are very professional, almost painless, & long lasting. My two kids (11yo and 13 yo) visited Dr. Benjamin Sun's dentist office for the first time based on referral. We initially hesitated because the kids grew up with "Oak Park Dentistry for Children" and were reluctant to change. However, my wife and I wanted to try a new dentist for our growing kids, that was affordable and had better schedule access/flexibility. The kids loved their experience with Dr. Sun! He is extremely friendly with kids and his personality shines by making them feel comfortable. The office is very modern and bright. As a parent, I was thrilled to get into Dr. Sun's schedule within a week and when I saw the bill, it was very reasonable and we were not sold on any additional services not needed. Best dentist ever! Dr. Sun saw my dad after a not so great visit with a different dentist. Front office staff is super helpful, sweet, and extremely welcoming. The office was modern and functional, everything was very intentionally placed. The doctor was highly educated and he was fast and efficient. My dad was seated early and the doctor was right on time. He is all about keeping your teeth cleaned from getting fills and doesn't use any tools to dig in your teeth. This is the best dentist office around! They are so truthful and reasonable. I never feel pushed into things. I even told them I wanted to do Zoom and they explained that because my teeth undertone it most likely wouldn't do anything, instead of taking my money, but I did it anyways! I did not get a cleaning for about 2 years, they could have easily said I had a bunch of cavities, but they didn't! Benjamin Sun has been my dentist for many, many years, at his previous office as well as this one in Westlake Village, CA. My entire family has seen him, too. He and every one of his staff are thoroughly professional AND personable, always with a welcoming smile and great attitudes. If you're in the area, I don't think you could find better, more pleasing care for children or adults. I have found his approach to be conservative. He has never suggested work that was not absolutely necessary, and I have never felt pressured to have any non-essential work done. In fact, I have asked a few times if something should be fixed, with Ben telling me that the procedure was not necessary, but still giving me options. He has my complete trust and confidence. Most often, I go in for teeth cleaning. Dental hygienists are also excellent. I've several of them in this office, and all have been top notch and very thorough, leaving nothing to chance. Prices are very reasonable, too. Plenty of free parking at the rear of the building. He is on the upper (second floor), with stairs and an elevator just inside the rear entrance. WiFi available. Been a patient of Dr. Sun since 2013. Great dental office that takes great care of my teeth and smile. Office staff is super friendly and the doctors are always up to date with the latest technology. Oh my goodness where do I begin!?!?!?? When you walk in the office the staff greet you with smiles and offer you coffee and even Chapstick!!! In the waiting room there are books of the dentists family vacations so you get to feel and little more emotionally connected to him which makes spence because he is cleaning your teeth which is a very intimate experience. Ben the dentist is probably my favorite dentist I have ever had he's like a mother, father, teeth cleaner, counselor all in one what more could you ask for. I do NOT recommend this dentistry. When I first went to them, I had no pain whatsoever. Out of nowhere, they discovered a miniscule hole that needed to be refilled. They did such a poor job, I had to go back. They didn't fix the issue, and I had excruciating pain for more than two weeks. Many other reviewers are talking about their ample parking space. When you are choosing dentists, plenty of parking space should be the last thing you need to consider. read more
