The job took a couple days longer than expected but such is life when you're working with a lot of sq ft and simultaneously just had the floors refinished. The team was *incredibly thorough* with protecting the floors, walls, and other areas that weren't being painted. All of their prep work was top notch. The trim and baseboards came out gorgeous. And the rooms we had painted look incredible. It was a little more expensive than a couple other quotes, but I am very happy and feel like it was money well spent for very professional work. Attached photos are just two rooms, the green room they painted and did the baseboards. But they did work in 8-12 rooms in our house depending on how you count and every single one turned out great.

After seeing the excellent paint job done on my neighbor's house, I contacted Mike this past…read morespring. He spent about an hour with my wife and I while we toured the outside of our house, offered suggestions on paint schemes, and ultimately gave us an idea of the quantity of supplies, primer, and paint would be needed, along with a "low to high" cost estimate. He doesn't produce a nice glossy report with a warranty like other companies. However he obviously "knows his stuff", and we decided to proceed with him even though the low end of his estimate was more than a couple of other competitors including a Denver business that regularly canvasses Loveland. His crew was excellent. They prepped the house for 4 or 5 days to wash, sand, and spot prime bare spots (PLUS the undersides of all siding boards...not just the bottom 4 feet or so). Then the crew completely primed the exterior (the primer was tinted, not white), applied a thick coat of paint, followed by trim and exterior doors. Mike regularly visited the job site for suggestions for the crew for touch ups. They were steady, polite, hard workers, and cleaned up every night. Ultimately after 6 straight days of work with one weather interruption, the job was done, billed out at the low estimate he had previously given us. I highly recommend him and his crews for anyone looking to have a quality paint job done.

They painted the interior of our last home in 2018, stained a deck for us in 2020, and painted the interior of the new construction home we've lived in for just over a year. Each time they have responded to our inquiry promptly, communicated clearly regarding job pricing, timing, and expectations, and completed the work on (or ahead of) schedule. I was expected to remove pictures and anything else attached to the walls, and the crew handled outlet plates, blinds, and everything else. They were efficient, polite, and we are extremely pleased with the results. Having had the roof of our retirement house in Longmont replaced by GreenPoint Roofing and solar…read morepanels installed by their trade partner, ProGreen Solar, It seemed an obvious choice to call on yet another partnered business of theirs, HighPoint Painting, to have the exterior of our house repainted. After all, since such superior work was done on the roof and solar panel installs, a trusting expectation was created that the painting project would be equally superior. And we were right! You know what they say about first impressions. Well, the project manager, Kinverlin, kept my wife and me talking glowingly long after she left our residence. She arrived with the paint team's foreman, José, and did a careful walk around the house asking knowledgeable questions while conferring with José on some questions we threw her way. I can't tell you how many times we've had either a sales person or a skilled craftsman from a company show up for a major home improvement project, only to really provide us with their limited individual perspective. Subsequently, we're faced with disappoint when later we're surprised by missing or misrepresented information about the project. Not so with HighPoint! With Kinverlin and José both present, we felt confident that there were not going to be any hidden surprises. And there weren't. Our next pleasant encounter occurred when José's crew arrived to perform the prep work necessary before the actual painting. All the members of the paint crew were thoughtful and polite. And boy did they prep the house exterior! We've had a few homes painted in our past and don't recall seeing anything like the exacting detail the HighPoint crew demonstrated. While incredibly thorough caulking was done all over the exterior, we were impressed that every single nailhead in the cement board siding was caulked over, also! Not to mention that each and every crack in the siding was repaired with a bondo product. We were incredulous. José's team worked long days performing the actual painting, and each day he was always the last to leave the house after carefully surveying the progress and engaging with me to answer questions and explain their progress. What an incredible foreman he was for the paint crew and a fantastic representative for the HighPoint Painting business. He accommodated us at every turn when we requested small changes during the project, as the evolving vision developed in front of our eyes. We couldn't have asked for a more satisfying encounter than we had with José. Of course, I should mention that HighPoint used Sherwin Williams paint on our house, 2 coats. We used the Duration line for the main body of the house and the Emerald line for the trim and doors. One of the selling points for choosing HighPoint Painting was their warranty, which I had read before inviting them out for the estimate. I had forgotten how reassuring it was until after the project when I asked that they refresh my memory on the warranty. Here it is: "HighPoint Painting will repair or replace any paint that is peeling, bubbling or cracking for a period of five years from the date of completion. Exceptions to this include damage caused by humans, animals or weather-related events. Includes 5-Year Workmanship Warranty." We had never encountered such a strong commitment like that with other paint contractors. As you can imagine, when a few days after the project was complete and I noticed a few small spots high on the plastic window trim of the garage doors where the paint had run a very small amount, I didn't hesitate to contact Kinverlin. Within a few days she had José back out to our house to remedy the small problems with good cheer. Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with the project process, its outcome, and the wonderful people involved in creating a beautiful-looking home for our retirement. And now that we've added HighPoint Painting to our home-improvement team along with GreenPoint Roofing and ProGreen Solar, we feel like we've hit a home run with bases loaded.
