Right around Memorial Day, I had an intense sciatic flare up that left me unable to sit down. I also liked reading about all of the different solutions he provides. I was able to get an appointment within 5 days, so I went in to see what could be done. Dr. Liang is a miracle worker! He is so knowledgeable about the body and was able to quickly see/feel what was happening in my body and offer suggestions. His table is my favorite thing -- the lower body stretching it provides feels AMAZING. I also like that the adjustments he performs aren't the super intense type you see on Instagram -- they are much more targeted, without all the crazy cracks and pops, and they WORK. Also, Dr. Liang is such a good person. We were just cracking jokes (instead of my neck!) and laughing the whole time I was there. After sending an email after much online searching, I finally got a response that he's leaving Cedars and had someone taking over his practice there at the Cedars medical tower. I was so excited to find him after so much searching, only to find he's not available. His email said his new person would contact me in 1-2 weeks. That time has gone by and no response. He handles me with the care and firmness that's required to adjust my back; I'm not a small guy. But Ben also has great skill with those smaller-framed patients. Dr. Ben saved my hips, pelvis and back during my most recent pregnancy. 10 years ago I had twins delivered via C-section and was going for an unmedicated vaginal birth for my most recent baby (born 01/30/17). I started weekly chiropractic sessions with Ben around 24 weeks when I realized I had SPD. My pelvis and pubic bone felt bruised 24/7; it hurt to roll over in bed, to get in and out of my car and most importantly- to exercise. I just recently moved to Los Angeles so I have no doctors or an idea where to go. I was looking for a sports medicine doctor because I had really bad knee pain and a swollen knee suddenly after 2 days of working out. I was really worried that something bad might have happened and didn't want to go to a General practitioner. So I found Dr. Ben through Yelp. I left a voice message and he called me back right away. I couldn't come in later in the day so he moved some appointments around to see me in the morning. Amazing! So 1 1/2 hours later I was sitting in his practice. I could already tell on the phone that he was super friendly. He greeted me with a big smile and showed me in. The whole time I felt in really good hands. He explained everything very well and step by step located where the pain was coming from, making sure to eliminate all different possibilities. He treated my knee with these pads that make your muscles contract automatically while simultaneously using ultrasound and red light, everything to draw out the swelling from the knee. I told him I had very stiff shoulders from sitting at the computer a lot for work so he even applied these muscle contracting pads on my shoulders and located the spasms in my neck and shoulders. In the end he taped the knee and aligned my whole body ("cracking" my spine and neck). I felt really safe and that he knew exactly what he was doing. All together I was in for 1 hour and paid 113 Dollars for the initial visit including use of the machine and the alignment and was very happy! I can totally recommend him!! When I first went to visit Dr Liang I was very nervous as I had never been to a chiropractor before. My back and shoulders were always cramped up and tense and I felt like I needed a massage every day to feel normal. After my first visit I felt like a new person. I was in terrible pain for 3 weeks and was in need of getting the problem fixed. I didn't have much time to spare in the middle of a work day and needed someone close to work. I always had a doubt about chiropractic treatment, as I wasn't sure if it'd wirj. However, I had no choice but to try one, because I had so much pelvic pain when I was pregnant. Dr. Liang is amazing! He has the best bedside manner of any medical professional I've ever encountered. I had quite a bit of pain from past injuries/surgeries that increased during my pregnancy. It was important to me to find someone who treated pregnant women specifically as I didn't want any harsh adjustments. I saw him regularly and the visits helped my pain immensely. I also think the treatments helped a ton with labor, so that's obviously a huge plus. The best Doc around for your back, neck, shoulder! even gave me free printing paper because i was out and ginger chew candy! But besides the perks of candy and paper he fixed my neck and should up good with electric pulse and ultra sound treatment to help loosen and break up knotted bad tissue and one hell of a massage!
