I was lucky enough to be gifted care from Kyu while going through chemotherapy. I leave his clinic vibrating with happiness every single time. He is basically magic. For me, the priority has been calming down a lesion on my spine that has forced me to use a walker. His sensitivity, kindness and extensive knowledge have made a huge difference in my quality of life. If you have a chance to work with him, run - don't walk - even if you're using a walker. :) read more

Best experience ever with an acupuncturist. Hands on continually from time I got there for the next hour. He sized up my condition and went to work. I felt a significant improvement when I left and feel he is the answer for my sciatica pain. read more

I was Dr. Kyu's patient on multiple occasions for various health concerns. It is rare to find a practitioner with such passion for his healing art and such dedication to every single one of his patients. His skill and knowledge base are awe inspiring, but it is his deep love and compassion for his patients that is truly healing. Could not recommend more. read more

I had been struggling with neck/shoulder pain for some time due to a mixture of old rugby injuries but also crossfit/surfing. Sports with lots of strain on the body. Before moving to Los Angeles, I had an excellent Doctor who treated me for everything and was a certified Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, and trained in TCM. After hurting myself again recently I went to a number of places around West Hollywood/Beverly Hills and couldn't quite find the same quality as I had as before. I'm glad I found Dr. Kyu! He has the same background as my former Doctor plus treated me with much more including a mixture of Accupressure massage, cupping, ultrasound, and electric stem acupuncture. High praise for Meta Clinic read more

I went to Meta Clinic after my physical therapist had tried to fix some painful tendonitis in my right shoulder for more than 6 months without success. I chose them because they accepted my insurance and had such great reviews on Yelp. I ended up having 3 sessions with Dr. Kyu and each session was very thorough - 60 minutes or more with a combination of acupuncture and massage. My 3rd session was just 2 days ago and I finally felt like it was starting to help my tendonitis. I cannot fault the quality of the work performed on me. I'm giving 3 stars for 2 reasons. The primary reason is that in less than a week they cancelled 2 appointments on me the same day of the appointment and less than 3 hours before my scheduled appointment. With the most recent cancellation today I even told the admin who called me that because this was the 2nd cancellation in less than a week and I was a new patient that I would need to stop seeing them and find someone else and her response was just "OK", not even an attempt to try and save my business. The 2nd reason is that both the 2nd and 3rd time that I actually had sessions the doctor asked me which shoulder it was that was bothering me - this reflects a lack of attention and documentation of my condition and should never happen in a professional setting. read more

The best care I have ever had western or eastern medicine. Dr Kyu is so caring, gentle , patient, humble and extremely knowledgeable. I am extremely physically active. I go in broken with painful shoulders, knees, emotional anguish and he puts me back together again. For instance he taped up my shoulder today after treating it several different ways including massage as if I were an olympian athlete. I have a standing appointment every week. read more

This place is the BEST. I came here right after my car accident and needed treatment FAST. I have been visiting Meta Clinic for 3 months now (for the pain i was having from my accident). When I came here for visit I found new things about my body than ever. 1. Dr.Suh explains to you everything in details. (So you know whats going on with your body & why n' how he'll be treating you) He will NOT just stick needles in you just to collect your $..HE KNOWS HIS STUFF! 2. You will learn new things about your body that you never knew :) 3. Hours are very flexible for me (after 6pm?! Ofcourse!) My mother was having problems: So i brought her here! She was stressed out from work..Dr. Suh took his time on her and over a little month my moms glad she came with me :) Next, I will be enrolling in the detox/dieting problem he offers. CAN'T WAIT. WHAT!? Have I seriously NOT written a review for this place? Are you kidding me? I'm so shocked! I freaking LOVE this place. I've been coming here for about a year, and it literally k e e p s g e t t i n g b e t t e r. I was originally getting acupuncture and seeing a chiropractor (thank you, insurance), but I dropped the latter when I started stretching more regularly. Having the chiropractor crack my neck freaks me out. Back to praising this place. The entire team here is fantastic. Everyone is so nice and professional. I had no idea they had been open the entire time during the lockdown! I've been coming every week, and I leave completely zen'd out. They have always had a very sanitary office, and have included the necessary Covid-19 precautions if you are worried. They accept insurance. Parking is easy. Stressed out? Go. Any kind of pain or even the idea of pain? Go. Chi low? Go. Need a little TLC? Definitely go. I highly recommend this place! read more

Dr. Kyu is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. A friend of mine referred me to him. Said he saved her life. I believe it! This man knows the human body inside and out . He was a doctor in Korea..chiropractor..miracle worker ! For years I have suffered from all sorts of ailments including: Digestive problems, anxiety, sleeping problems, back pain, and even seizures. You name it, I got it. After a month of acupuncture and herbs (2-3 times a week) I feel amazing. My brain is calm, digestion regulated, Qi balanced. I feel like a new person. He will stick you in all the right spots and tell you exactly why. Put you under the heat lamps and let you meditate. If you're lucky he may give you a little acupressure. This review doesn't do him justice ! I can't fully describe how incredible he is. You have to try him for yourself. Cannot recommend him enough ! read more

I got injured at work and I had a terrible pain in both my low and upper back. I worked with a therapist for several months and the pain got better, but it always came back. My orthopedist suggested me acupuncture sessions at Meta Clinic. I made my appointments and after few weeks the pain in my back is much better and pain seems not to come back. I am in absolute awe of Meta Clinic and Dr. Kyu. As someone who has sought out the advice, expertise and treatment of many holistic care practitioners in the Los Angeles area and beyond, I can say with certainty that Dr. Kyu has set a standard of care that is premium on every level. Each session with Dr. Kyu is an opportunity to get specialized care for whatever it is that ails me in the moment - muscle, tendon, ligament, entire joint, entire limb - Dr. Kyu will use every resource at his disposal to treat me. And his resources are plentiful: in addition to acupuncture, he implements as he sees fit electrical stim, cupping, radio frequency, massage (OMG!), ultrasound, and much, much more. Dr. Kyu's decades of experience, immense warmth and genuine care for my short and long term well being keep me coming back every week. He's also more than willing to entertain my questions about healing process and duration, appropriate activities for my condition and lesser known therapies from which I might benefit. This man is a treasure to be cherished and I can't wait until my next appointment. read more

Dr Kyu is a GODSEND!! After finding out that my current insurance plan offers two monthly acupuncture treatments, I was elated to find out that his office accepted my insurance. After reading some glowing Google reviews, and realizing he is close to where I live, I made an appointment. His administrative staff are friendly over the phone and gave me all the needed information for my first appointment. Upon meeting Dr Kyu, I was warmly greeted and blown away by his treatment. They keep the client at the forefront of their mind, always ensuring that you're comfortable and actually listening to you as you describe ailments. Dr Kyu has a magical touch and is an expert in his field, pinpointing exact areas of discomfort in my body without me having to explain it to him. I've also received some great advice on things I can do on my own to improve some of my issues. Despite receiving acupuncture treatments in the past, NONE compare to the incomparable Dr Kuy and staff. Go visit this great office, you won't be disappointed! read more
