We were schedule to see the house Monday morning; however, Carolyn presented offers to the buyers Sunday evening. When my realtor said to Carolyn that she should have told us she was accepting offers, Carolyn told my realtor she didn't have to tell her anything. First of all it's a courtesy to let the buyers realtor know that. Second of all..This is a disservice to the buyers. If we had liked the home we were prepared to offer well over asking price and we have the funds to pay over appraisal. It's sad she did her sellers wrong..I would never use this realtor if I were you. And buyers for this home...I'm sorry you got screwed over.

She rudely told me, 'No, we can't consider you' and refused to reach out to the homeowner, condescendingly adding, 'but I'm sure you will find a beautiful place.'A professional agent should facilitate communication and present applications to the property owner, letting the owner make the final decision. We were first time homebuyers and everything went well until the French drain that they were supposed to have repaired by a licensed plumber ended up failing and flooding our garage and finished basement. Casey at Results Realty tried to blame us for not taking care of the French drain and denied any responsibility. Needless to say we spend $10,000 and had the drain repaired. To our surprise we found out there was never a French drain to begin with-- just a shallow pit that quickly overflowed and flooded our house. The neighbors reported this happened all the time before we bought the house as well so this was not caused by our lack of care or attention in any way, shape, or form. Since they owned the property for at least 6 months I'm sure they were well aware of this as well. In addition to not having the drain repaired, they provided fraudulent receipts and no work was every done on the drain before we purchased it. Now we're stuck in this house wondering what else the seller lied about. We've already had to redo some of the other minor repairs from the addendum as well. If you are considering getting into any sort of business agreement with this company, think twice.

I chose All waterfront Realty because when we bought the property that was the real estate agency that handled the sale and I felt they would be familiar with the property. After we got a buyer, they referred me to an attorney to handle the sale. Between All Waterfront , the attorney they referred me to and the buyers Chicago attorney, they changed the terms of the contract without ever asking for my approval. I also want to mention I didn't care for the attorney that they referred me to either. After that, they gave me a list of people and companies to call for testing at the house. I also called people and companies that I looked up. I came to realize that I could get some of the testing done cheaper with companies that I looked up. I chose one or two companies of my choice and I paid them directly. It was an eye-opener for me because at that point I realized the kickbacks were going on between the real estate and everybody they referred me to. They also had someone of their choice come out to do a Radon Inspection in the basement. When it came down to emptying the garage and the house with everything that didn't sell at the estate sale All Front Realty wanted me to sign a document that I would use their workers, who would keep certain items in the garage for themselves. My husband was a Tradesman and he had tools and supplies for almost every trade. They wanted to charge me $200.00 an hour for this job and they wouldn't give me a time frame as to how many hours it would take to remove everything. When Jeff came back to pick up the contract, I was on my driveway and several of my neighbors were on theirs. When I told Jeff and his wife Robin that I wasn't going to sign the contract because it was too vague and I got somebody else. Both of them started screaming and yelling at me. After they left, my neighbors approached me and told me they were appalled at how they were speaking to me and that it was none of their business who I hired. When Jeff came back to my house for a Final Inspection, he called the the guy I hired on the side and asked him how much I was paying him, he also asked him for his business card and wanted to hire him. My advice would be if you're selling your house try to do as much as you can on your own with friends and family. Sad to say, but the majority of companies and people that are out there try to take advantage of you if they can.
