Savanah our server and Kyle was our chef. Savanah was very sweet and made sure our drinks were never empty. She was one of the better servers we have had here. Kyle was awesome, he has been with the company longer than any chef we have had and if we can get him again I would. He was friendly and did an amazing job. All the food was cooked to perfection, he offered us extra sauces to include garlic butter which no one has ever done before. The steak was cooked the way I liked it, the chicken was moist, the veggies were tasty and the rice, yum. I really like this location and we will be back.

I sat in the regular regular seating area, not the hibachi style sitting. Came here while I was at a conference and staying at the Westgate hotel. The servers were very nice and quick to get my order. I got the New York style steak, hibachi, which came with onion soup, ginger salad, and green tea. The hibachi also came with white rice (you can substitute for fried rice for an additional $9), vegetables (onions and zucchini), and shrimp. I also ordered a strawberry margarita, which was really good! The location was beautifully decorated and allow you to choose from the hibachi style seating or solo seating. You can also choose the hibachi side or the sushi side of the menu. Definitely a nice place to visit if you are wanting a good meal within the area.

Benihana on the Las Vegas Strip delivered exactly what I expected from the Benihana experience. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had the classic hibachi setup that makes dinner entertaining. Our chef was personable, engaging, and incredibly skilled. The cooking show was fun, and the food was delicious from start to finish. The steaks were especially good and cooked perfectly. Yes, it's a little pricey, but that's to be expected in Las Vegas, especially with prices having gone up since COVID. For the quality of the food, the entertainment, and the overall experience, I thought it was worth it. If you're on the Las Vegas Strip and looking for a great meal that's also a fun experience, treat yourself to Benihana. I'd definitely recommend it.

We were back again for Restaurant Week 9 years after our last experience here. Once again we had a very enjoyable meal, seated again with six male tourists. Our grill master John was very entertaining in a non-staged manner. I began with a Rainbow Sushi Roll, which unusually contained a shrimp above one of the pieces. And lengths of ginger were liberally provided, which I prefer to top off my sushi. Next up were delicate Gyoza and thin but numerous golden Tempura Shrimp, followed by hot Onion Soup with Mushrooms and a very cold salad with Cherry Tomatoes. Then, while Diane ordered Ocean Treasure, which consisted of lobster, scallops, and "colossal" shrimp that were large but not gigantic in size, I had the Restaurant Week special Trio of medium-rare Filet, chicken, and shrimp accompanied by Mustard Sauce and Ginger Sauce. While Diane selected Steamed White Rice, I had Benihana's vaunted Chicken Fried Rice. Chicken morsels were quite numerous, shrimp large, and the Filet buttery and perfect medium rare. Grilled Mushrooms enhanced the morsels of steak. And other assorted grilled vegetables rounded out a delicious meal. Hot Jasmine Tea helped to wash everything down well. And, Rainbow Sherbet was a refreshing ending to a filling and enjoyable meal. Service by Eric was very responsive to my requests for Low-Sodium Soy Sauce, a knife, and a Hot Tea refill. And our grill master knew how to cook as well as entertain.

Our server Jeff or Richard he has multiple names was excellent! We had table service instead of the hibachi station. It's hard for my husband to eat red meat any where but this is the only place he doesn't complain about the steak cause it's cooked well done and it's tender with no fat. The noise level was a lil louder only cause the cook was putting on his show at his cooking station near by. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was great but the service was slow. The place was packed and we had a reservation. It took maybe half an hour for our water to be delivered and over an hour for the chef to come (this is a hibachi restaurant) I ordered their specialty steak and it was extremely tender. The shrimp that it came with was only 3 pieces. I felt they skimped out a little. The onion soup was phenomenal though.

Came here in 2024 and it was a vibe. Our chef was hilarious and it was a bit pricy but worth it in my opinion. This time I went it was a bit odd. My last experience we got seated immediately and got to get the food relatively quick. Not the case this last time. If you're coming here prepare to be here for 2+ hours. We did reservation and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Our actual food wasn't prepped until almost 2 hours later. We did enjoy the onion soup, but salad was acidic and not that great. Normally Benihana gives you A LOT of food, this time we hardly had leftovers. Our chef was great but he did not make enough rice for everyone and I ended up having to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for my rice (that I paid extra for because the fried rice with chicken is now $9) . The actual meat was not as much as I remember. The actual waiter was nice and always made sure our cups were full. Food needed a bit more salt this time. By the end of our meal we skipped the dessert and were tired and just wanted to go home. This spot is also super expensive now for two of us it ended up being around $150. We also didn't get anything fancy, just the steak and chicken and the chicken and shrimp. For drinks we also did the lemonades. Quite frankly dropping $150 isn't a problem if the service is excellent and the food is great. The wait time made the experience less than great. Being hungry for 2 hours almost isn't fun. I will hi light they have an offer where you get a free appetizer if you sign up with them which made the 2 hour wait bearable. I'm not sure if I'd go back to the Las Vegas location but if we do go I'd probably just do regular dine in and avoid the long wait for food.

Went here with a group of friends for a birthday and had an amazing time! Our server, Jason was awesome and had such a personable disposition! He was accommodating, polite, professional and funny! Our cook, Emmi made delicious meals and had a great personality as well! The food was very tasty, seasoned well, and he took his time to guarantee we had a wonderful experience but didn't take too long so that we starve lol. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for making our celebration complete!

I didn't wait that long because I had a reservation. The place was packed a lot of people waiting for their cook. I had a birthday reward given to me beforehand. I ordered the hibachi salmon and a side of scallops and fried rice. I had the 5 course meal so they gave us soup and salads before the cook started cooking. The soup was okay but the salad is nothing special to it and the shrimp appetizer was too salty. Sean was good but the shrimp was way salty and they didn't give us sauce before cooking if I didn't ask for it maybe they wouldn't have given me or the people on the same table as me. Also your 5 course would at least come with free dessert.

What a great evening at Benihana. Brandon who cooked for us was amazing. Hubby had steak and I had Lobster Shrimp and scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection. Definitely will return in the near future

Had a great time at Benihana! Chef Ryan was amazing -- super fun and made the food delicious. Meghan took great care of us throughout the meal. I made a reservation through Resy, which was easy and convenient. Overall, a fun and tasty dining experience! Update: Visited this location again and had another wonderful experience. Max and Jasmine made our visit very special. Max cooked everything perfectly and the food was very tasty! Jasmine provided great service and made sure we had a great time. Looking forward to coming back again!

Pretty torn on my review. On the one hand, the food was delicious. Presentation was the typical hibachi experience. But the chef Damian was SUCH a Debbie downer :( He complained about so many things in life. I get it, we're all going through something. But using your patrons to trauma dump isn't the move. There was a gentleman at our table celebrating his 31st birthday, and Damian was kind to form the rice into a 31. That was pretty cool. But the gentleman stopped recording the "show" because the chef was so negative. We wanted a fun dining experience but instead left feeling meh.

Jeannie W.

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. They still send $50 birthday coupon to my email. Since we're in Vegas we decided to come here for his birthday. Service was good but they don't sing to you anymore for the birthday. It was a little disappointed but food was still good. We still got the birthday pictures from them.

I have a question for a group reservation. I need a table for 6 but my youngest is 2 years old and won't eat there, do I still have to pay full price for her as well? I don't want to leave her out and she has no spot at the table.

You only have to pay for a meal if something is ordered for them. Have gone many times where someone has a youngster that didn't eat, and they've never been charged for them.

What's the dress code? Like my dad does not wear suits or khakis... I don't want them to turn us away

It's casual. No pressure to dress up but you may see others dressed to impress

Birthday gift certificate rules are confusing. If I place a order for $42 can I use the $30 certificate on that order or do I have to place another order?

Just place your order, $30 will be subtracted from your bill. I used a birthday certificate at the fashion show location and I was by myself.

What days are lunch specials?

No longer have lunch special

I don't understand how the happy hour menu prices work...?

If you dine at the bar and come during their happy hour time frame you pay reduced prices for certain appetizers and sushi rolls.

Is the atmosphere better than the Westgate or more plain? Is it in the Fashion Show Mall?

Definitely more modern-chic. Way less traditional than the Westgate one. Only one level with no special firework show village thing in the front.

So what table do you get when making a reservation? Do you get the table where the chef cooks in front of you? Sorry first timer.

Usually you get the table that the chef cook in front of you

The garlic butter was so good that I asked for more, and Kelvin was kind enough to make me an extra batch because I couldn't get enough of it. That definitely made my night. The only comment I would suggest on, which many restaurants struggle with, is that the water service for refills was slow. I do not know if this was out of courtesy to not be a distraction to the performance or interrupt our conversation, but I would prefer that as opposed to being dehydrated. :) Maybe also consider offering a pitcher of water if that is easier rather than monitoring the water glasses more closely and/or interrupting/distracting from something. Other than that, everything was lovely. The sushi bar looked pretty awesome. Maybe I will try that next time!

Their all-you-can-eat menu is loaded with an incredible variety, so there's always something delicious to try. As someone who prefers sushi without rice, I especially appreciate their no-rice options! They may only have two no-rice rolls, but their seafood salad with assorted fish and cucumber is SO delicious, and their Jalapeño Bomb is an absolute MUST every single visit! Their nigiri is also fantastic--the rice-to-fish ratio is perfect, allowing the fresh fish to shine without being overwhelmed by rice! One of my favorite things is that they offer full or half rolls on most of their sushi selections, making it easy to try even more of their amazing menu. Add in their huge selection of appetizers, including edamame, and there's no shortage of options to keep your taste buds happy! And PLEASE, whatever you do, SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! Their fried banana with ice cream is my go-to every single time. It's the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal! But what truly makes Sakana special is the staff. The food is amazing, the selection is fantastic, and the people make the entire experience that much better. We then took a small plate of 3 Gyozas off the belt but realized we had no chopsticks or silverware so we again got up from our table and went to the front to request these. The Gyoza from the belt were cold and tough as leather and we realized they had probably been travelling around on the belt for hours before we got there. The ordering kiosk on the table had very tiny font and it was difficult to read without climbing up on the table and getting it a few inches from your face so we got a printed menu. The prices on the printed menu were completely different from the prices on the kiosk which was confusing. I had their ribeye steak ($18.95) which was about 3-4 ounces and 1/2 inch thick. The sauce they covered it with was flavorful, and my dining companion said her Sushi roll was good but she's had better. In our view the whole revolving conveyor belt thing is a dud, but small children might be entertained by it. We realized that the fish and seafood dishes travelling around on the belt were unrefrigerated and would likely begin spoiling quickly but they'd keep on spinning around the restaurant until somebody finally grabbed them which grossed us out. We felt sorry for the restaurant workers who were caught between what was supposed to be an almost fully automated dining experience and still being needed to fill water glasses and get the customers necessary things like chopsticks and napkins after they forgot to place them on the table. We left a good tip for them out of sympathy. We're one and done with a "revolving" restaurant experience. We will not be back to Sapporo.
