I will admit I had one…read moredecent visit there the first time I went, but even then I was kind of questioning my decision because the staff did seem pretty stressed. Almost every time I've called with a question or concern I am told that I will get a call back and I never do. I recently went there about a month ago and was sitting in the waiting room talking to a friend on the phone because I knew it was going to be a little while. At one point, the doctor comes up and says to me...Are you just going to sit there and chat on the phone all day or what? I found that extremely rude, I was there for a yearly pap smear - it was uncomfortable enough to have to go in and do that procedure after the doctor acted that way. Nearly a month later my results were not made available to me on the patient portal, there was some other result for an HPV test. After three phone calls about this to find out what my results were, and none of them returned (and on my third call the receptionist just interrupts me and says...Yeah, I know what you're calling about in an unkind voice and puts me on hold) I was told - that my pap smear was not even done!! That they have been having some issue with the lab for months about this. For months?? And you don't rectify it and have patients keep continue to come in to do this test and not get any results? I'm sorry but that is just not right. Also about 9 months ago I had a yearly check up there with some abnormal urine results - the doctor pretty much said it was fine and not a problem (blood in the urine that there was no reason for it to be there for me at my age as a woman). I started having some other urinary symptoms 6 months later and saw a urologist and had the same result of blood in the urine and they wanted to do a complete work up. Maybe two different opinions, I don't know, but to have an abnormal result on a test and just act like....oh, it's nothing....probably not a good approach as a doctor I would think. So my opinion, look for another doctor in the area. I went here because they were supposed to me a more holistic, alternative practice combined with conventional medicine and they even took insurance. There aren't many doctors like that around. A holistic doctor to me is kind and caring and looks at you as a whole person. So needless to say I was very disappointed. The nurse I spoke with today even told me that they are too overwhelmed and are working on it. I haven't seen any changes in the last 9 months I've had experiences with their office. Hopefully they fix that problem for themselves and for their patients. I wish it could've worked out and I didn't have to search for another doctor now.
