Rather than acknowledging the issues, she became defensive when dissatisfaction with the service was expressed. When a refund was requested due to the poor results, there was significant resistance before she eventually agreed to refund less than half of the amount paid. $150 for this inexperienced "balayage" service is a scam. Mistakes can happen, but professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to make things right matter just as much as the service itself. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in all of those areas.

Jennifer is definitely current on the trends and she can replicate a look almost flawlessly. I looked throughout the Triangle for a stylist who would travel to my Virginia wedding and do make-up AND hair (different styles for everyone!) for 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 grandma, and me at an affordable rate. She was on-site and ready to go and kept close to the schedule; she got a little delayed with the last two appointments, but those included my flustered mother-in-law and my equally flustered grandmother, so I can understand why! When I met with Jennifer for a trial, she put Mom and me at ease with friendly chit-chat and she checked in for feedback as we went through each step of the makeover.
