As always, the best place to get your brows waxed/tweezed is a benefit bar. This is the best Macy's one on the area- much nicer than the one at UTC- and almost as friendly as my old one at the Ulta in PL. I'll be back, hopefully more regularly than I was going as the brows were looking a little too cavewomanish before I got here. Seriously though- don't cheap out on your eyebrows. See these gals. The best makeup I have ever had done by Jade. This girl is AMAZING. I came in w/o appt on my birthday and was set up with Jade. She was super friendly and engaged with me. Before she even began she asked questions about what kind of event I was going to, she asked the color of my outfit and if I wanted anything special. It was my 21st bday, I was wearing a dark green dress with red/maroon accessories. I asked her to just slay my face, and slay she did! She contoured my face giving me a defined jaw line, pointy nose, deep and high cheek bones. Dog, I looked SO bomb. My eyeshadow was maroon red, Winged eyeliner, and false lashes. SHE SLAYED. She color matched me on her first try which I thought was amazing!!!sge also let me choose some facial jewels which I wore along my eyebrows for an extra pop (I love being a little extra, lol.) Everyone at the counter was very sweet and chatty, which I loved. Everyone stopped and watched jade as she slayed my face and everyone was in awe with her work. 2 months later I still can't believe how beautiful my makeup was. I will go to her next time I need my face done, and I have recommended her many times already to friends and family. Everyone seemed to enjoy there job there and seemed to be friends. Now because It was my birthday they hooked it up with some free sample goodies which I thought was super nice. I do want to apologize to Jade I promised her a review and it took me a couple months to get around to it, I'm sorry girl! NOTE: I did not get my brows done by her, as I have a trusted brow lady already. (I have major brow trust issues and once I find the lady I love and bond with I never go anywhere else, lol. I rather have caterpillar eyebrows for months than go anywhere else. No offense to anyone I'm just SUPER picky.) Since I was walk in I got my makeup done for free with a 60$ purchase. Usually I wouldn't like that but since I needed a new foundation and brow kit, it worked out! The benefit brow kit is like 40$ and it comes with a pencil, highlighter, primer, and a measuring tool. IT'S AMAZING AND I'M NEVER GOING BACK. I also bought my false lashes $15 and a foundation that was I think 30$. To wrap this all up, if you ever need your face done go to JADE! read more

I have been getting my brows threaded for quite some time and I finally decided I was fed up with how much hair they would take off each time... I shop at Macy's regularly and decided to give the Benefit Brow Bar a try. I booked an appointment with Brenda and that was just over a month ago. I have already had my second brow session with her and because she cares about my actual brow hair and shape, my brows have filled out so much already. They are thicker and have a more defined shape. She "brow maps" me each time which enables her and I to see where hair needs to be kept and where it can be removed. I've come to this location a couple of times to get my eyebrows done and I always leave happy. Brenda is amazing at brows! She's super sweet and professional. I had told her about an incident that occurred where the last person that did my eyebrows waxed a little too much off, and she fixed them and made them perfect. The products she uses are great and makes sure your skin doesn't get irritated by wiping off the wax right away and putting product on the waxed area. Liz is awesome!!! She has done an amazing job on my brows. When she found me, (yes she found me, it's a very long and boring story to type here so I'll spare you the details) she immediately impressed me. She knows brows, and can shape them to compliment your face. No one touches my brows but her. If you need a brow make over go to Liz, she will wax, trim, and pluck them back to shape. You have to listen to what she says though, don't touch them with a pair of tweezers unless you want to destroy her work. Walked in without an appointment the other day to get my eyebrows waxed and was immediately assisted by Jade. She was so friendly and made me feel really comfortable. She took the time to do a full consultation so she knew exactly what I wanted. Being someone who has blonde eyebrows, it's very common for the waxer to do the bare minimum and just send me on my way. Jade made sure that there were no stray hairs and that both brows were even and the same. She made sure everything was perfect before showing me the finished product. Went to get my brows done and Liz is no longer there. Had a new girl do my brows and the first thing I noticed is that she didn't mark my brows before waxing (this is a norm for Benefit). When I asked why she didn't she stated she didn't like to do that made it harder. Asked me a bunch of questions about my job, hours etc which made me a little uncomfortable. Small talk is fine but a little too personal for me. After my brows where done and I started walking around the mall my upper eyelid started burning really bad. Left mall to go back to work and turned around to have them look at it. It was bright red and all the girl kept saying was, "I didn't lift the skin". Well apparently you did. She kept trying to put stuff on it but just made it worse. The manager finally gave me my money back and I left. Two days later and still a nice pink.
