FORMAL CONSUMER COMPLAINT Date of Incident: April 16, 2026 |…read moreTime: Approximately 2:15-2:45 PM Facility: Genesis Address: 7455 W Washington Ave # 140, Las Vegas, NV 89128 To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal consumer complaint regarding a deeply concerning and potentially dangerous experience I had at Genesis on April 16, 2026. I have been a loyal patient at this facility and have consistently received excellent service from the medical assistant, nurse practitioner, Sapphire (the manager), and Heshimudi during his time there. This place felt like a second home to me -- which is why today's incident was especially troubling. I arrived for a biotin shot and a glutathione shot. The medical assistant who attended to me -- believed to be named Erica, wearing all-purple scrubs -- demonstrated a serious and alarming lack of sterile technique that puts patients at risk of infection. The following violations were observed:1. She removed my biotin and glutathione vials and took them into a separate room, out of my sight, before returning with the prepared shots. 2. She placed open gauze and an alcohol pad directly on her tablet -- the same surface used to check in patients -- and then used those items on my skin. 3. After administering the injection, she placed the used needle on the same dirty tablet, where it then rolled off and fell to the floor. 4. She left the room, retrieved a new gauze pad, and placed it in the same contaminated location. The side of the gauze that had been in contact with the tablet surface was then applied directly to my body. 5. The injection itself was administered abruptly and without care As someone who works in healthcare and is employed, I am well aware that these practices are a direct violation of basic sterile and safety protocols. Needles, gauze, and alcohol pads must never be placed on unsterile surfaces, and items that have contacted unsterile surfaces must never be used on a patient's body. I am formally filing this complaint and intend to report this incident to the State Board for further investigation, including a formal inquiry to identify the staff member involved. This is a matter of patient safety, and I will not allow this to go unaddressed. Eight weeks to be exact. There were numerous inquiry calls made, messages left with no call-backs; rude receptionists; broken phone systems that automatically transferred me to various extensions leading somewhere beyond the galaxy; and an actual hang-up from a receptionist needing a pee break! I was becoming more and more anxious. For years, I had heard that a high percentage of Nevada doctors were rated very low on the medical scale, but was not prepared for it to be a reality after moving here. Anyway...on my umpteenth day of searching Yelp, RateMDs, Healthgrades and Zocdoc, etc., I finally found one of the best general surgeons! A cyst on my chest (aka: The Alien) was the culprit that led me to Dr. Citro. (I initially thought it could be taken care of by a dermatologist, but my Primary knew it was beyond that option, and a general surgeon was needed.) Dr. Citro was not only extremely professional, very good looking, and bakes a mean Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, he totally put me at ease with his knowledge and sense of humor. I especially appreciated his reassuring bedside manner, as I'm quite squeamish at the sight of a needle and scalpel - especially if I'm awake during a procedure. Except for the few little pricks of the numbing injection, there was nothing else to make me uneasy. Oh...did I mention he is Chief of Surgery at Mountain View Hospital? Thank you, Dr. Citro, for getting rid of The Alien - forever! Another extremely important bit of information: We have always believed that even an exceptional doctor is only as good as his office staff. Well, Dr. Citro's was wonderful, and I appreciate their kindness and professionalism! I'm sure that one of my old body parts will need Dr. Citro's service in the future - so he must NEVER retire.

I have been paying for one area treatment (made a contact for 18months). I also started doing month to month for retouch areas. Because one payment did not go thru for my month to month they cancel all apt without giving you a chance to pay. They also cancel my contracted apt that was paid to the date. I called to make an apt and they said that I was behing payments. I told her no I am not. The person over the phone argued with me and told me I have to talk to another department. I had sent an email to the department. I live in AZ and they do not care how long it will take. It was a few weeks later I got an apt. By this time I have already lost one session because they do not like to honor last/lost appointment. I also paid in full my month to month apt and they didn't honor my session. $200 I gave away to their charity. Today I had an apt at 230pm and got there on time. The did not have a receptionist and the girl who does laser checked and said my apt was at 1230. I told her that is impossible bc I wrote it down when I was making the apt. She didn't let me finish my sentence when she said " do you want to come and see the screen, next time make sure you write down right" The employees are always right and the customer is always wrong. I still have a few months until my contract is paid. I feel undervalued as a customer ( I have been a customer for years). I dont feel comfortable going in there. I will never come back. This has been one of the tops worst customers service I have ever had from a company. If you want to do laser hair removal find another company. You will be very disappointed. I had also asked if they could wait to start my daughter's toes until I finished my nails so I could sit with her, but the technician insisted "it's fine, I got it" and started anyway.
