I bought a microneedling session with hyaluronic acid serum as a Mother's Day gift for my wife through Groupon. We scheduled her appointment for Friday, May 16th at 10:00 AM. She arrived on time, ready for her treatment. What followed was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. They had her fill out multiple digital forms upon arrival. After completing the first two, the third form kept giving her an error. She was stuck trying to troubleshoot the issue with their staff, who had to resend the link two or three times--still with no success. This dragged on until about 10:20 AM, all due to their own tech issues. Then someone came out and told her that because it was now too late into the appointment window, they wouldn't be able to numb her for the procedure. Seriously? She had been there the whole time, on time, trying to fill out their faulty forms. To suggest she go through a microneedling procedure without numbing was ridiculous--and frankly, negligent. When she told them she wouldn't do the procedure without being numbed (understandably), the staff member was condescending and dismissive, saying she'd have to reschedule--but only for Tuesday through Thursday. We have two young children at home, and I had already rearranged my work travel to be home that Friday specifically so she could take time for herself and use this gift. I fly regularly for work, and Fridays are the only day that reliably works for our family. They were the ones who booked the appointment for a Friday--so to then say they don't do procedures on Fridays after we had already coordinated everything was absurd. What's worse is that they had already scanned and redeemed the Groupon before she even got the treatment. She walked out without receiving anything--just a wasted gift and an upsetting experience. If numbing takes a while, they should have started that while she was filling out paperwork, especially considering it was their system causing the delay. The entire staff was rude, unaccommodating, and made zero effort to take responsibility. This was supposed to be a thoughtful Mother's Day gift and turned into nothing but stress. Do not recommend a Brazilian wax here. Aesthetician was nice,but the service was not good. It was noticeable that the aesthetician didn't know what she was doing or isn't fully experienced in waxing. She didn't even know if the temperature of the wax was correct. As well the strips used seem very cheap. It's one of the worst wax I've have ever gotten. It was my first time here at this location. I've gone to other places and it has never taken 45 min for a Brazilian wax to be done. Very painful. And I still left with hairs left in the Brazilian area. She started my procedure and during that time she answered calls (plural), left the room multiple times to schedule appointments, check on other patient and even left the room to greet someone coming in the building. It was a very crazy unprofessional experience. The whole time she was rushing my procedure. At the end she started putting machine away and I asked if she was going to do my under eyes and she said no because it would hollow them out! What?!? That's one of my main focuses of needing collagen. She barely wiped my face as you can see from my pictures. I asked if she was going to do anything about the price change and she said she couldn't refund me but would put $58 on my account for the difference. I left and was very upset paying nearly $500 for a shotty incomplete job and experience so when I got an email to rate my experience I did. The owner reached out and was making tons of excuses but seemed to want to make it right by offering me a $100 credit to my account to come back and get a better experience. I was hesitant because how awkward is that but then said you know what I will give it another go and asked to come today. I was there for my appointment and subtracted the price match credit and the $100 credit from owner and said this is how much I should be paying. She said no the owners is only offering you the $100 credit! I said what?!? The price match refund has literally nothing to do with the $100 credit from the owner, please call her. She did and she came back to say they were only offering $100 credit. At that point I was done paying them any money and didn't want to offer up hundreds more when I've already been screwed once! Guess I should just bought the Groupon; it would've saved me money and then would've lost money. I guess this is just how they treat some people. Real unfortunate experience! Get your facts straight!!!!!! I accidentally showed her an expired Groupon that you guys should've seen was expired with the price of $490! Then I tried to show her the VALID Groupon for 432!!!!!!! Nylah made the whole experience a lot better. She was very thorough and tweezed a few tough hairs! Now I feel very aerodynamic. Lol. the absolute WORST wax i have EVER received. i'm almost positive my waxer was new so no shade to her, she's learning but by all means practicing on a client who has booked an appointment is unacceptable. she used soft AND hot wax on ONE area 3-4 times. i couldn't stand the pain any longer that i left with hair still on my bikini after laying there for an hour. there was no method she was just going for it, waxing in small patches . ive had many waxes, i know how it goes. she was also "tweezing" hairs with her FINGERS! snatching hairs off my coochie with her fingertips was crazy to me. after that she gave me aloe and baby oil to apply but to apply she gave me the brown paper towels that feel like sandpaper, so i was expected to use sand paper towels to apply baby oil to my freshly overly waxed coochie.
