Miserable people. I have never had a good experience with this group. The clinician was unprofessional and rude. The whole body check was a 15 second "stand up, looking at the front and back of your body". Nobody could make a diagnosis that way. This group is horrible; from the office manager (young girl who is a joke), front office staff (miserable), clinician who is totally unhappy and says her boss (Benne) tells her "to get in and get out" and spend 5 minutes with the patient. They only care about your money. I had an area in my back that was painful to the touch. I wasn't able to see it so I made an appointment (was able to be seen that same day). She looked at the area for 5 minutes, saw nothing, and charged me $100 for the visit. read more

I was a little dubious because I didn't have to wait six months for an appointment. Every other derm practice has been on a six month waiting list. Anyway, I was scheduled with Paige, a nurse practitioner. Not only was she highly knowledgeable, she was professional and extremely gentle. The front desk people are a little snippy (and they are STILL wearing masks) but the rest of the practice is wonderful. The office is beautiful and clean and easily accessible from I83. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. Personally, I would rate Jennifer Kerstetter 10 stars!! She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and received the proper treatment. She worked tirelessly to get my medication approved through the insurance company, which has greatly improved my quality of life! I sincerely cannot recommend her enough!! read more

I loved this practice until this year. Office cancelled my appointment and then cancelled my rescheduled appointment. I had an issue and left a message for my provider at the urging of my primary care provider and Laura (office staff) was extremely rude when she called back. She refused to allow me to leave a message for my provider and repeatedly refused to allow me to speak to the office manager or anyone else in the front office. I've currently been waiting over a week for my call back from the office manager. I suspect Laura hasn't passed on the message as she knows her behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I would not recommend this office to anyone as long as Laura is there. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. After working in healthcare for almost a decade, I have never once said or heard a licensed provider say to a patient "good luck" and walk out of the room...until today. Will absolutely not be returning. read more

I went there for basil cell carcinoma ,skin cancer my bill said 1st stage chemotherapy 1000.00i have had skin cancer before and never had that posted on my bill. plus I made payments that weren't posted andsaid I still owed the amount. think they dr, bene is scamming people. read more

Really should be -5 stars! Awful, awful service. DO NOT GO HERE! Jennifer Kerstetter is horrendous. My husband received terrible treatment and when he had a lesion removed, HE had to call them 2 weeks after to find out he had bcc. You'd think they would call him, but nope. Just ridiculous. I went here years ago and loved the doctors and scheduled a follow up recently. The appointment was scheduled before the working hours and called the day of to see if that was an error. Received a call back about how I missed the appointment. Normally I'd be happy to reschedule over the miscommunication. However their office assistance was so incredibly rude and derogatory that I'm willing to drive 1hr+ to the next closest doctor than go in here again. Sad to see b/c I love their doctors. read more

Dr. Bene is great at what she does, and so is the staff that supports her at Dermatology & Skin Center of York. I've had some skin cancer spots on top of my head, and she and her staff handled both instances exceptionally well. I only wish that they were in my PHCS insurance network as I may have to go elsewhere to avoid having to pay more out of pocket. read more

The doctor, although I've only seen her in person once, seems fine. It's the front office staff that need to be fired. I am currently going throught he 2nd time I have had to wait on a prescription due to their not being able to make a simple phone call. I called on a Monday to let them know insurance needed a doctor approval for me to get it (even tho I had refills). They said it would take a couple of days. I went back to the pharmacy on Saturday and these fools still hadn't made the call. It's now Tuesday. Still no call, even though I've called two more times telling them to hurry it up. They obviously don't give a crap about their patients. Never going back. read more

I had two appts. with Dr. Bene. I was not satisfied with the first one. I don't know why I made the second appt. The first appt. was to have a wart removed and a sun spot on my face beside my eye. After she removed the wart she started to spray the sun spot beside my eye with liquid nitrogen. I yelled stop. She did not use a protective shield over my eye. I've had this procedure done at another provider and they always covered my eye with a protective shield. Also, when I was to be discharged Dr. Bene told me I needed another appt. I didn't want another appt. She stated, "What if this wart is malignant? I felt that was a scare tactic to get me to schedule another appt. The second time I saw her was for a complete skin check. That was in June 2015. She looked up and down the front of my body, had me turn around and did the same on the back of my body. This took about 15 seconds and she said your fine and waked out of the room. I am 56 yrs. old and had been a sun worshipper in my youth. I have hundreds of moles and freckles all over my body. In October 2015 I went to my PCP and had a Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from my neck that was there when Dr. Bene did my skin check. I have heard bad things about her since then. read more

This place is very unprofessional. I made an appoint for 08/22/18 for a consult with Katie.I arrived on time to find out, they never put me in the system and Katie wasn't even there TODAY! I will never go there again.... Very disappointing. read more

Took my daughter here for her psoriasis that her primary Doctor already evaluated but she wanted a 2nd opinion. So we took her here since it is in my network. As soon she came into the exam room she just evaluated my daughter where I told her that my daughter's doctor said to exam. She tells her assistant to go online to check out pictures to show me. So she started reading online what's the causes and treatment for psoriasis. Gives us sample of over the counter lotion and sends us on our way. Their bill to us, $188. No wonder our healthcare systems is screwed up. I paid $188 for a CRNP to tell me from an online page what I could have just read online myself. Oh btw, my daughter's primary Doctor charged us $88. read more
