When I brought the shade to the showroom, I was greeted and listened to and got my questions answered very professionally. Expecting to have to leave the shade for repair, I was pleasantly surprised that the repair was done right there and then and when asking what I owed, I was told that I didn't have to pay anything. The owner Mark…read moreAbplanalp stiffed many of his prior customers - including myself - on warranties for blinds he installed while operating his previous company (Emerald City Blinds) in the Seattle area. I ended up having to pay a lot of money to have the blinds repaired and restrung. I'm only posting this now because I'm dealing with issues again with the blinds he installed and I recall the frustration of trying to reach him by phone and email 10s of times to no avail. I thought he might have passed away or something, but later found out he just picked his stuff up and left all his customers behind.
