That's how I felt when I moved to Bend with pink and purple balayage on short hair filled with cowlicks. Then word-of-mouth led me to Meleni and I am so grateful! When she did my balayage, she managed to bleach my dark brown hair to a color lighter than ever achieved and didn't fry it. I was used to having to bleach my hair "punk rock style", but Meleni knows her chemistry. My hair still felt like hair after the bleaching! Among her talents: she's an artist with color. I've had three haircuts from Meleni now, and I feel like each time she gets to know my hair, the more amazing the cut. This last one she somehow gave me the perfect Louise Brooks bob that I coveted for decades and had given up on ever having. Will definitely be returning, which I don't often say after…read morehair cuts :) I have very soft, straight, long hair, and my #1 priority is that it is low maintenance. Wash, air dry, comb, maybe a brush, done. Adding texture or shape to my hair is therefore really difficult, and I've struggled with face frames and layers in the past that unfortunately needed to be styled to look good. I let Candace know I would literally never be styling my hair but that I still wanted some nice shape and movement, and she executed beautifully! I've had a billion face frames and layerings and this is my favorite so far. It looks great on its own with no styling, and I can flip my part however I want and it actually works! The ends look healthy and thick...not too feathery, not too chunky, just awesome. Thanks a bunch Candace :)
