David at Bend Event Sound did an amazing job as our DJ for our wedding at Aspen Hall!! To start with, our other DJ's bailed on us within weeks of the wedding, so we needed a DJ ASAP style. We found Bend Event Sound on the Wedding Wire website and asked if they'd be able to take on our wedding with very short notice. Within minutes of sending the email, David of Bend Event Sound, wrote us back saying he could help us out. After a few short emails and a phone call, we had a contract the next day. Within a few days of the contact, he sent along a survey asking us about our musical requests and schedule for the big day. His including planning guide, helped us make a few small changes which made a big positive difference to the "flow" of our event. The day before the big day, David called us to see if we needed any help with anything and just touching base to see that all systems were go. Day of, David arrived on time, set-up smoothly and seamlessly. He found us after the ceremony to say hi, check in and make sure we were on track for timing. From the moment he announced our arrival at the reception, things went effortlessly on our part. David checked in on us to see if we needed more time before key moments, he played songs that we had requested, as well as some others we hadn't, but as a whole, everything flowed really well without any odd placed songs, without too many slow songs, without too many hip songs that Aunt Betty doesn't know the words to. We even received a LOT of positive DJ comments from our guests that evening, (including some from folks who don't normally dance who noted that they enjoyed the music selection soo much, it inspired them to get out there and shake a leg). All in all, we would gladly recommend Bend Event Sound to anyone looking for a DJ to help them celebrate their special day... wedding, birthday party, bat mitzvah, you name it, David was great to work with and did an amazing job. Bend Event Sound provided the DJ and MC service for our wedding in June 2018 at Tetherow Resort! From the start, David was very easy to communicate with and patiently answered all of our questions. They did our wedding this fall and they were fantastic. It was great knowing they had our music taken care of for the ceremony and the reception.
