We moved to Bend in late Nov 2025- DH took it to another jeweler on 3rd St to replace the battery. he said he had to wait some time and the cost was $20. I went to put on my watch about 4 days ago and found it was dead. So I called this shop and spoke to a really nice lady and she said come on in and that she typically would replace the battery while I waited. So I went by- it's in a mini mall with easy access, and three ladies were before me. The lady took my watch and told me she would work on it. I strolled the mall and came back to the counter where much to my surprise- maybe 5 minutes later- she had finished the work. The cost was $15, and she said there was nothing of a charge left on the other battery. In any case, I believe she said her name was Laurie, and I have to say it was a pleasure meeting her and having such personal and professional service. Her demeanor was not warm from the beginning and certainly wasn't warm when I mentioned I wasn't 100% happy.
