With that in mind I was eager to take my Ridgid Brad Nailer to them for warranty work through the Ridgid lifetime warranty program as they are an authorized repair facility. For clarity, the issue with the tool was a single pin on the nail guide that kept popping out of place and causing reload problems. Nothing major, just a pin. I could have put some rubber cement on it to hold it in place but hey, it's got a lifetime warranty right? I dropped my item off without a hitch having already gotten the approval. They gave me my receipt and said they would be in touch in a couple days. I called a month later to inquire about the status and they had not received the part yet. OK, so I waited another month without hearing from them and called again. They told me the part was not available, and the item would have to be replaced. So far my only complaint was their lack of communication, understanding that this was pretty much out of their hands. A few weeks later I called again, aggravated at having to wait so long for this warranty work. I asked if the tool was still there and they said yes. I said I would just come and pick up the tool and fix it myself instead of waiting for Ridgid to get off their ass and do something. They said I could not have the tool back since it was going through the warranty process. I said, well it's my tool, it hasn't been fixed, you still have it, so I'm going to come and get it. They again said it wasn't possible, that Ridgid would have to authorize it. I said I would call Ridgid for authorization and call them back. When I called Ridgid, I was told that Tool Service had already called them and that I was going to have to wait for a replacement. So now I'm pretty angry that Tool Service is inserting themselves into my personal business and called to ask them why they had involved themselves in my issue with Ridgid. They said they had the right to get involved when I took my tool to them. Now I'm really pissed so I attempt to explain to this moron that what I pursue with Ridgid doesn't concern them and to stay out of my business. Long story short, regardless of how Ridgid handled this situation, these guys had no right to step on my toes and get into my business. Unbelievable lack of courtesy and professionalism on their part. I'll never go back to them and, unless you're completely out of options, neither should you. I would say I'm very fair when writing these reviews and however I can help others from experiencing poor service, I'm up for the task. This may have been singularly related to Ridgid warranty items, I'm not sure, but the lack of customer service and total lack of professionalism is inexcusable no matter what.

I have a Mikita 5030 orbital sander that I use, anyway. Got done a bit more than two weeks and it works! I never used the ridgid before and I love the oscillating pattern it does. The working tool paid itself off the next day! They are in a new location.

She wasn't even over 100K miles yet (maybe around 80-90k?). On top of that, I never raced her let alone even had work done requiring removal of the oil pan! I was very strict about oil changes and all maintenance. She was my daily driver and racked up a good amount of miles. He then tried to bait and switch on the payment after offering $250. The tow truck driver "only has a check." Recycling companies are notorious for paying with check that bounce. All they need as the title signed and they got all the leverage. He said "just take picture of my truck" which I could not find the company on google maps. The guy acts like he is leaving then bust out $225 cash and said that's all he can I offer. I say no the offer is $250. He then pretends to leave again and then comes back with an offer of $225 plus $25 check but at this rate all trust is gone. Every one of these companies use the same shady tactics.
