They way I learned is that "Betsy" a Wellington manager went into the apartment and dug through piles of junk and papers to find the important legal documents. And that was just the beginning of her efforts which included moving, cleaning and contacting people. Who does that, based on loyalty and a dedication to the care-taking profession. I am so appreciative of the efforts of the Wellington team AFTER their tenant was gone. I know that nobody picks a retirement home based on what happens after death, but they should because that period is very stressful and time critical. As a surviving party, the support of Betsy and her staff was priceless and deserves my highest praise.

You could tell they truly loved her, cared for her and were genuinely heart broken over the same loss we were suffering. Every time I visited they were kind and friendly and went way out of their way to do things that weren't even within their job responsibilities. I ran into Debbie personally a few times and she made a point to love my Grammy hard even when she was extremely rude. I can't say enough good things about how everything was handled from day one right through to her last day. We are all so grateful.

You know when you take a tour of someplace with the marketing director and the staff are "polite" to that person? Like this is the first time they ever spoke to them? Well my tour of Reeds Landing was genuinely nice - like the staff friends! My mom will benefit from a GP doctor having an office and staff on-site. So far, so good. The…read morestaff are great, the food is very good and the facility has so much to offer for activities. My mom loves birds and gardening and they have allowed her to be involved with both of these things. While everyone is wonderful the dining room servers are who really stand out. They are younger adults and deal with a very challenging population yet they are always so professional. Sometimes we get frustrated with a parent who is complaining about their food due to their Dementia or Alzheimer's conditions but the servers seem to take it all in stride. I feel that they have been trained so well. I wish I could give a hug to each one of them because sometimes they don't have an easy job. I highly recommend this place! May I add that the server named Kyle is the best. He engages with each resident, calls them by their given name, jokes with them and shows true compassion. He's wonderful to watch!

They now want to collect another 9 thousand dollars from his corpse. No meals. No care. No use of utilities. 9 thousand dollars from a deadman's body. Our parents have been in Memory Care at The Reserve for almost 2 years. During that time they…read morehave received kindness and attentiveness from all levels of staff. From the administration to nurses, CNA's, dining staff and cleaning staff! Their room is bright and spacious and kept clean! Medical attention is quick when needed. We get calls if there are ever concerns and updates if one of them has any issue. The daily activities are perfect for their mental level. I was visiting one day when Our Dad got up from his dining table after lunch - grabbed his walker -and said: 'I have to go join the circle in the community room now. They always have something fun to do!" Even with his dementia he knew it was a good thing!! (This actually surprised me as he was never super enthusiastic about anything when he and my Mom lived alone at home). There is always an activity they can take part in. The feel of The Reserve is quite posh compared to other facilities I checked in the area. It's very pleasant to visit. My sisters and I really recommend The Reserve to anyone looking to Place their Parent or Parents in a safe, comfortable, clean facility. We feel confident in all aspects of the Reserve. We hope my parents will enjoy many more years here!
