As I received my adjustment, an older gentleman sat and watched on the table next to me as he and the chiropractor chatted. Kids played loudly in the play space in the corner. The massage therapist employed there sat in the waiting space with his cell phone plugged into the wall and complained to the office manager about an expected client appointment being a few minutes late. Really? I'm new to the area but have had chiropractic care for 20 years. Chiropractors either have the intuitive feel for how much force is needed to adjust each segment of need in your frame or they don't. The male chiropractor practicing here does not. I can't say how his wife and co-practitioner does since I will not return to find out. Also, they billed my insurance for treatment I never received. They have been reported. What can I say positively about this place? The chiropractor was friendly. The best way to describe this place would be chiropractic "fast food", poor quality and not worth the money.

The dispute was not with Vicki Cooke my former NP, she had never talked to me about it, she was out of town during this time.... I guess it's common practice now to have no say so about your care. Regardless, you discharged me as a patient, fine, I will go someplace else... My complaint, you sent out a certified letter in January, or you say you did, you wouldn't show me the receipts. I never received any letter, why would I have shown up for an appnt if I had received it. I had an appnt scheduled on 6/14 since my last appnt in December of 2017. I received a call to confirm my appointment, I asked to change the appnt to today's date. Yesterday I received a call to confirm my appointment. I came in for my appnt, I was asked to update paper work and then taken back to a room.... It was then I was finally approached about the letter that was "sent" out in January. Vicki Cooke would not even come and talk to me. I was humiliated and all of this was over a dispute with a very rude staff member about antibiotics for a sinus infection. Today I came in with a black eye and a hurt shoulder from a fall yesterday, I thought I was going to have it looked at. . I guess I need to find a new doctor to take a look at it.... My advice to the staff there, if you discharge someone as a patient make sure your staff and the patient knows about it. And to Vicki Cooke, I suggest you take the time to talk to your patients before you make rash, uninformed decisions. I'm truly baffled at this, all over antibiotics for a sinus infection.

The nurse called me back about10 minutes later and performed the normal procedures, weighing, height, blood oxygen levels, etc... Dr. Wang came in about 5 minutes later. He is a friendly man and wants to hear about your health, history and lifestyle. I never felt rushed and he was easy to talk to. He explained his methods of care, his rating on what you are doing now, and any changes of action that is easy to understand. He said he wanted lab work and it could be performed on site! Wow! No fasting, no going to some lab, no waiting! The whole appointment was just over an hour and I'm done! The next day I received an email with my lab results and what he want to tweak! That was so quick! I am very impressed with the entire practice from the ample parking, and friendly staff, to the attentive nurses and doctors to the painless quick lab facilities. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new Doctor. Truly a medical practice like is should be!

My Review of Dr. Showalter, DC…read more I was livid when I read a negative review that may legally fall in the bounds of Slander and Defamation. That illegal negative review compelled me to write my personal statement of Dr. Showalter. I never write a review, however, I was stunned when I read a negative review of Dr. Showalter that was totally fraudulent and slanderous very deceptive without any evidence, reason or probable cause. Words spoken or written can damage the reputation, character or good name. A false accusation or a malicious misrepresentation is a legal definition of Defamation. A licensed professional could lose their license, livelihood, family and finances trying to defend against false accusations and still fall in the cracks of injustice, sad but true. Dr. Showalter is very sensitive to the costs of medical care and strives to provide care that is not only effective but also affordable. Additionally, as demonstration of his commitment to his patients he often offers payment plans to fit their individual needs. Outstanding professional is at the heart of everything he does at his clinic. Billing, while by no means is his primary motivation, it's simply what allows to continue to serve his patients. Dr. Showalter and his staff often work with patients to find a solution that best fits their circumstances. They are more then happy to help, above and beyond to resolve any issues. Dr. Showalter's primary concern and dedication is to his patient(s) health. One thing that I saw about his practice is the cost of treatments are transparent, consistent, competitive and in compliance with state laws and medical ethics. All on the right side, one could say that "I'm all right". In my opinion, I believe that I'm an authority on finding out who is good, bad or indifferent type of doctors or any other health care provider(s). Since I was honorably discharged coming back from overseas in 1972 to this day and have been relocated in 7 different states due to my occupation. I must of been seen and treated by hundreds of health care providers including VA clinics and hospitals. Instead of writing my experience with all of them, I will only write my reasons how I chose Dr. Showalter, a doctor of Chiropractic because of all my experience with all the previous health care providers. If you're a patient or future patient of Dr. Showalter, you can confirm of what I'm going to state on how I chose him from about 30 other Chiropractors from Cleveland, TN to Chattanooga, TN., I did it so meticulously, research, investigative and actual face to face interviews with all of them, a process of 2 months. I did go to his office on the appointment date, all other Chiropractors I interviewed were little nervous, their answer were nebulous, a worried look on their face, etc. they all failed and didn't qualify. When Dr. Showalter walked in the room he was pleasant, calm and very transparent on everything. It took about an hour, believe me, I questioned him on everything from A to Z, I almost felt I was interrogating him like in the Marine corps, he was cool, calm and confident. Needless to say, I made an appointment for my treatments which had to be approved by the VA and they also had to make sure he's qualified and to be certified as a VA health care provider for Veterans. He does treat many Veterans that are referred by the VA. I don't want to expound how the treatments improved my health, gait, spinal alignment, even headaches like never ever before, it would take 20 more pages. Main reason I'm writing this, is that there are many unscrupulous health care providers that are greedy and defrauding the government and/or the Health Insurance and are not caught yet. Then there are some very honest, dedicated for the care and health of the patient and to be wrongfully accused is a sin and a devastation to a good human being.

I was escorted to a medical room at 2:06, and the medical assistant updated my medication list, weight etc. The NP named Mark, that I had been assigned to arrived with a trainee at 2:47 PM! No explanation why he was 47 minutes late. I find this unacceptable. And this was the second time he was late - the first time was the first time I met him. I made sure that I told the receptionist that he is running very behind, and that I would never be returning to this facility.

Dr. Jeremy Bruce was excellent with my husband on his hip replacement. When years later he was…read morelosing feeling in his arms and legs below the elbow and knees he could have tried to keep treating him, but insisted he go to a neurosurgeon. My husband went to the Neurosurgeon, and it was determined he had a spinal cord injury, and the main trunk nerve was compressed in his neck. He is on the slow road to mending I have to thank them both. Now my husband needs to have his other hip replacement done. I hope Dr. Bruce will be able to do that for him as well.
