Great experience with this company! Communication was excellent with them - timely and all the imperative information. On delivery day they gave me regular updates and made a perfect drop in my driveway. I normally get 1.5 to 2 cords, but because this was my first time using them I wanted to be sure of the quality and just ordered 1 cord. The driver (owner?) explained that next time they could also divide the truck so that 1/2 a cord was sectioned off (I give 1/2 a cord to a friend) which will make my life do much easier! I didn't have the good fortune to do business with Ben, as he was sold out of what I needed for this season. His customer service to a non customer was way past excellent. 2019's fall delivery... still very solid mixed hardwood cord. Ben dropped it off himself this time, which was kind of a surprise to get to talk with him. When I have been getting delay after delay from another wood service, Ben delivered a fantastic, mostly dry and clean order of wood (that I think is almost a cord and a 1/2) for a very reasonable price. Thank goodness, because of previous delays, we almost didn't get wood this year, but are now looking forward to lots of firewood for our stove, and warmth through the winter. I'm not sure how many years we have been getting wood from Ben, but let's just say, it has been many. Each and every year, the wood has been well seasoned. The cords appear generous. The size fits our woodstove. Ben keeps us updated about when the wood is ready, making it so I don't have to remember each year to order wood. He sends out a text, and then I discuss with my husband and arrange delivery. We have a lot of vehicles in the driveway, as well as a tent trailer, and he keeps us in the know so we know exactly when to move the items. He puts the wood exactly where we want it. Clean wood. I haven't needed any logging services, but when it comes to firewood, Ben is the best. I've been heating my house with wood for over 25 years and I've bought a lot of wood. Just because the ad says "seasoned" doesn't mean it always really is dry enough to burn reliably. However, Ben's wood IS seasoned, ALWAYS burns and not only that, he reminds me to buy some more before the fall rains start and I'm scrambling. I get a fir and hardwood mix, usually oak, so I have wood to crank the heat up during the day and some good dense wood to bank in for overnight. I no longer have to order up wood and just cross my fingers that it will be easy to use when it arrives. read more

We had Ben out this last week to log part of our property and sell our timber. He was very pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. We were impressed with his skill/accuracy and very appreciative of him with his generous cleanup. We had a few other companies look at our property but we felt most comfortable working with him.
