Great experience with this company! Communication was excellent with them - timely and all the imperative information. On delivery day they gave me regular updates and made a perfect drop in my driveway. I normally get 1.5 to 2 cords, but because this was my first time using them I wanted to be sure of the quality and just ordered 1 cord. The driver (owner?) explained that next time they could also divide the truck so that 1/2 a cord was sectioned off (I give 1/2 a cord to a friend) which will make my life do much easier! I am very impressed and absolutely will use them again. Highly recommend! read more

I didn't have the good fortune to do business with Ben, as he was sold out of what I needed for this season. His customer service to a non customer was way past excellent. I am a restaurant owner looking for cooking wood. I have sent emails and left voicemails to multiple companies without even receiving replies. Ben was kind enough to give me some recommendations and insights which helped immensely. Hope to snag some wood next season and begin a long running relationship. Thanks again. good& well read more

Ben is very responsive and customer-oriented. Delivery was on time with generous quantity and is some of the finest firewood I have ever bought in the last 25yrs. We'll seasoned, cut and split evenly, stacks well and very clean with very little waste. I will be ordering from Ben again next year and I strongly recommend you consider him for your firewood. read more

I've ordered from a lot of different fire wood suppliers in the Oregon City area. I am happy to write this review recognizing Ben Parker's service and product quality as the best I have received so far. Ben was communicative from start to finish and the fire wood he provided was high quality hardwood, well seasoned, and at a fair price. read more

2019's fall delivery... still very solid mixed hardwood cord. Ben dropped it off himself this time, which was kind of a surprise to get to talk with him. Very clean, minimal mess, a couple spiders but no burrowing bugs again. It's rare to find a high quality provider at a reasonable cost. I'll see them next year. read more

Ben was very responsive and friendly. Extremely happy with the cord of wood he delivered to our house.

Ben is as honest as they come, and he delivers a generous cord of wood. He was great at communicating delivery day and time and was punctual (actually early), and friendly. This is the second time we've used him and will again in the future if needed. read more

When I have been getting delay after delay from another wood service, Ben delivered a fantastic, mostly dry and clean order of wood (that I think is almost a cord and a 1/2) for a very reasonable price. Thank goodness, because of previous delays, we almost didn't get wood this year, but are now looking forward to lots of firewood for our stove, and warmth through the winter. Very nice, personable and genuinely seemed to care about the wood, and the quality of what we received as well as how to make the best use of the split seam, and other nice features we've never had before! Highly recommend him and his company to anyone! read more

I'm not sure how many years we have been getting wood from Ben, but let's just say, it has been many. Each and every year, the wood has been well seasoned. The cords appear generous. The size fits our woodstove. Ben keeps us updated about when the wood is ready, making it so I don't have to remember each year to order wood. He sends out a text, and then I discuss with my husband and arrange delivery. We have a lot of vehicles in the driveway, as well as a tent trailer, and he keeps us in the know so we know exactly when to move the items. He puts the wood exactly where we want it. Clean wood. I am hoping he is around until I feel too old to stack wood and use my woodstove! read more

I haven't needed any logging services, but when it comes to firewood, Ben is the best. I've been heating my house with wood for over 25 years and I've bought a lot of wood. Just because the ad says "seasoned" doesn't mean it always really is dry enough to burn reliably. However, Ben's wood IS seasoned, ALWAYS burns and not only that, he reminds me to buy some more before the fall rains start and I'm scrambling. I get a fir and hardwood mix, usually oak, so I have wood to crank the heat up during the day and some good dense wood to bank in for overnight. I no longer have to order up wood and just cross my fingers that it will be easy to use when it arrives. read more

We had Ben out this last week to log part of our property and sell our timber. He was very pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. We were impressed with his skill/accuracy and very appreciative of him with his generous cleanup. We had a few other companies look at our property but we felt most comfortable working with him. He was conscious of our home, surrounding homes, septic fields, etc where other companies made no mention of this. Ben is simply a good person and we will recommend him to all our friends, family, and neighbors! Thanks again, Ben! read more
