I could see that the door wasn't closing all the way but didn't know what to do. I need to squeeze a couple more years out of it since they don't make them narrow enough to fit in that wall anymore! Mike came out the same day (in torrential flooding rain,) said I actually did a great job with the gaskets and he was able to adjust the door hinges so that it closes properly now. I was able to make bread at 450 degrees that night with no problem, when it could barely reach 350 before he came. Someone else on here complained about having to pay a service call for something that took only a few minutes. Well, I was thrilled to do it because I appreciated his honesty and expertise which saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. And making a trip to someone's house for free doesn't put food on his table. He gave me a $10 discount since he wasn't there long. Very grateful! I'll definitely call Mike again if I need any other appliance repair. Thanks so much!

On the day before Thanksgiving, Conrad arrived less than one hour from me opening a home warranty claim. He quickly confirmed that my 75 gallon water heater needed to be replaced. We discussed the challenges of my installation and we agreed that the new one would not be in place until the end of day Monday. This was disappointing but understandable due to the holiday. Also, I was nervous because I was leaving town Friday morning and would not be there for any additional issues (there usually are issues). Conrad pleasantly surprised us when he called on Friday and set up to install it that day. The entire NOLA area experienced low temps in the 50's that weekend and the early install kept my wife from having to choose between bathing in cold water or travelling to impose on relatives. I returned a week later to find the new unit installed EXACTLY as we discussed. WARNING: If you have a home warranty... My only complaint is with the warranty company. I have two contracts with them - one for me and one for my disabled sister. Each home has needed a water heater this year. Regardless of their size (my sister's was a 50 gallon unit), the cost to me was over $500 for each - $75 copay plus $460 for non-covered expenses. I priced the extra parts used for my job at Home Depot and they totaled less than $30 including tax. This is a flat fee imposed by the warranty company. THIS ROBBERY IS NOT CONRAD'S FAULT. He determined problem was an improperly installed tube on the ice maker that caused water to spray into the interior building up ice on the defroster and fan which then made a tremendous noise. No need for a major repair. While he was working on the fridge, I asked him if he could look at the washer. Within one minute he determined the suspension was shot causing the tub to shake the washer making a tremendous noise. He had that problem diagnosed and repaired with parts off his van in 15 or so minutes. I found him very reasonable, too.

They claimed the heating element needed to be replaced, charged me $100 for the diagnosis, then another $250 to install a new element. After spending $350, my oven still didn't work. When they came back out, they suddenly decided the real issue was the motherboard--something they failed to check the first time. Now they want another $300 to fix their own mistake! When I asked for a refund for their incorrect diagnosis, I was met with extreme rudeness, especially from an employee named Page, who was not only unprofessional but outright dishonest about the situation. This company refuses to take responsibility for their own errors, and their lazy, careless approach to diagnosing appliances is completely unacceptable. They should have properly assessed the issue from the start instead of making assumptions and wasting my time and money. This was an absolute nightmare of a service visit. I called them in to diagnose a Bosch dishwasher…read morethat will randomly stop its wash cycle and report the cycle clean, despite having standing water in the basin. We seemed to be able to fix the problem by rolling the dishwasher out and jiggling the drain in the back--but this was getting tiring so I decided to try to get someone out to fix it. The technician roughly pulled it from the wall, opened it while the cycle was running, and began looking around inside. He was unable to diagnose the problem, but after his expert service, the seals at the bottom of the door were totally shot, causing the dishwasher to gush water onto the floor. The technician and the service dispatcher said this was obviously MY fault, for having an old dishwasher. The fact that the thing has never leaked before was chalked up to a coincidence. "Seals get old," I was patronizingly informed, as if seals naturally "get old" in 10 minutes after someone yanks your dishwasher out and pops the door open while the cycle is running. Destroying my dishwasher cost me $115. The technician was clueless (none of his explanations for the problem I actually called them about made sense or was consistent with the symptoms I was describing) and the dispatcher couldn't care less that I was dissatisfied or that they'd destroyed my dishwasher. She wanted that $115. Ok, she got it. But I would never consult this business again and I urge ANYONE to use ANYONE ELSE. You will end up worse that you started, and $115 poorer. This company's attempt at service was an abysmal failure.

Sent me invoices for Service dates where they never came to my home and then when confronted about it, they got disrespectful and said that because I did not want to do their job for them with the manufacturer that I was being rude.
