First of all, I like the fact that they are in the same office building where they were 8 years ago, it makes me feel like they are a very stable group that's going to be here when you need them. Secondly, I never felt pressure with my new purchase. These things are expensive, and my health insurance even paid for part of it. And they offer a wide range of pricing on units, so it's totally your choice to go entry level or high end, they had positive things to say about all the units. The staff have all been very nice, the office is very attractive, and I'm six weeks in so I guess I'm getting used to them. I can't say that I love my hearing aids, because honestly I still can't tell a huge difference in my hearing... but I also wasn't too horrible with my hearing to start with. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 - but they are all really nice to work with. So if you think you need a little amplification in your life, give them a call.

Dr Lainey was very friendly of course and said she would give me a great discount on hearing aids. Later I found out she upped the price on paper to make it look like I got a deal. She took only 15 minutes & charged an absolutely ridiculous amount to have her computer program them. After doing research, I found out she charged me way more than what other audiologists charge in town for the exact same aids & service. I have never felt so taken advantage of before. Every little extra thing she does comes with overpriced additional fees. No breaks whatsoever. I feel like I have been had by a con artist. The service she has provided has been subpar. I have left msgs & received no response. I found out she locked my aids. Because of that only she can continue to program them as needed. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with her until I need new aids someday. I deeply regret ever going to see Dr Catherine Lainey in the Franklin, TN. Fair warning. By the way, the receptionist is 5 stars.

If you are not sold the first few seconds speaking with Kristie (the equally amazing part of this duo) walk away because this all on you. I am not a fan of doctors and spent decades steering clear (home remedies, duct tape on bad wounds etc.) of them until I had my first visit (she came highly recommended from a podiatrist) due to extreme gout pain I had been dealing with for years, A dr. who actually talks to you getting to know you and your issue(s) and explaining the different ways you can attack to cure/treat. This is how it should be done. EVERY dr. in this country should be booking a visit as a patient with Dr. G and learning this is what patients deserve. I would go to the ends of the earth for these two women due to how much better I feel today both physically and how that has made me feel mentally. Takes months of phone calls to get nowhere & they make you pay anyway unless you feel like going to collections. Try to switch to a different, trustworthy Dr? They'll deny your request under the guise of "continuity of care". This is MY body & MY health. To deny me my right to new treatment bc I'm not getting the level of care I deserve is absolutely disgusting. They will swindle not only you, but your insurance company as well. Pick a different Dr or make sure you bring a tape recorder to your visits.
