She is highly capable, a terrific listener, and brings a thoughtful, professional approach to every step of the process. I came in skeptical about whether I even needed hearing aids, which must have made providing an unbiased assessment challenging. Holly never pushed, never rushed, and never treated the decision as transactional. Her style is low-pressure, supportive, and centered on helping you arrive at a conclusion you feel confident about. She explained my hearing results clearly, answered every question, and showed what felt like unlimited patience as we evaluated options. She provided two different demo sets of hearing aids--and made it clear she was willing to continue with whatever testing or comparisons I needed. After I chose my devices, Holly continued to offer guidance while I adapted to them. She encourages follow-up questions, checks in on progress, and genuinely wants her patients to succeed. I wholeheartedly recommend Anacortes Hearing Center and Holly Kennedy. Outstanding care, genuine listening, and a level of support that's increasingly rare.

I have been wearing hearing aids for nearly fifteen years. When it was getting close to upgrade…read moretime, I chose three local hearing aid centers to research for product and service. I was not all that impressed with the first two. I was hopeful that number three would be the charm. It was! My first priority was quality of the output of the hearing aids. Second, I wanted caring, competent, and friendly service--at a reasonable price. Side note: the second hearing center I visited was manned by a gentleman whose previous employment was lumber supervisor. He was now a "hearing aid specialist." At Anacortes Hearing Center (AHC) the owner/operator has a PhD in audiology and has years, if not decades, of experience. During the process of learning about, testing and experiencing what the AHC had to offer, I knew I was in the right place. I ended up buying a pair of Oticon aids. And while the hearing devices are exceptional (of all the units I tried), the Oticon was light years ahead of the others. I did road test multiple devices at the first two locations. The first location let me wear two different pairs of aids for a couple of weeks. The second wanted payment up-front for me to wear them home. Honestly, I was not at all impressed with number two. Spending a lot of money and wanting to get the most for my dollars is a big deal. I was happy that I did the weeks of research. It paid off in spades. I especially like that when my cell phone rings the voice is right in my ear--and private. The software, too, is exceptional. But the service I received from Dr. Kennedy and her assistant, Lindsey, was absolutely fabulous. I could not ask for more. Dr. Kennedy was dedicated to getting my situation right. And she did. Whether you are going to do the tedious research or just want to go into one good place and "git er done," look no further. I hope this review helps you.

After being a patient at this clinic for a number of years they have told me I must find a new…read moredoctor. All because I had a phone appointment for 4:00PM Aug. 30, I had to go out at 4:30 and they did not call until 5:00PM they say it is normal to have to wait up to an hour for a phone appointment, so I made the mistake of mentioning that my time was also important and I could not see it taking an hour to give a call. I needed a prescription renewal for High Blood Pressure and I was going to be going out of town for a week. Upon returning I called for another appointment and was told i would be recieving a letter saying I would need to find another doctor. I guess Dr. Bhalla's ego is so fragile that she could not handle the stress of being the recipient of a tad of frustration. So now I have to find a doctor to treat my hypertension. Maybe if I die of a heart attack she will feel good. My thought is that if she cannot handle that stress should she really be practicing medicine I mean there must be more stressful things than someone saying I am also busy and have things to do. My time is as valuable to me as hers is to her. Why do doctors think they can keep you waiting but dare you mention anything and BAMM you are out of there.

Today I was ripped off my the Gateway Medical Clinic. My…read morefamily doctor, who shall remain nameless, had to retire his practice due to personal illness, and I therefore was notified that I would have to procure another family doctor. "No problem", I said, "which doctor at Gateway will I be able to see?" I was surprised to hear that no other doctor at this facility was taking on any new patients, and that I would have to fend for myself in finding another physician, which I proceded to do. Then came the money grab. In order for the new doctor to be able to take on both my wife and myself as patients, he would require my medical records which I would have to have faxed over. After losing or misplacing or not receiving the faxed request I decided to get a hard copy paper myself and hand deliver it to Gateway. This brings me to the blatant charge. Even though I did NOT change doctors for any personal reasons, but only because my doctor retired, I was told that I would have to pay a transfer fee of $50.00. EACH! A hundred bucks to fax over some paperwork, and for a service for which I was in no way responsible. If there was a minus rating, I would have used that.
