This prevented me from grabbing more, so I'd definitely recommend coming prepared with cash so you can get everything you'd like. The prices are fair and cheaper than what you'd find in the grocery store, so it's a decent trade-off for the cash-only model!

While they had a lot of classic and domestic products, they do offer a decent amount of local beer, wine, and pre-mixed cocktails (even though the Untappd app said the local beer I was looking for wasn't sold anywhere in a 25 mile radius, Island Foods had it!). We came the week of Pony Penning, and the store makes a couple dozen cakes (see picture) to celebrate the occasion. The produce aisle is small, but they have enough that you could get a decent variety of fruits and vegetables for your stay. There's a pretty decent selection of meats here. I don't remember seeing too much non-frozen seafood, but I imagine it's hard to compete with the fresh catch with specialty fish markets on the island. I was pleasantly surprised to find several Gardein products, which meant vegetarian Child #1 could have some imitation meats and seafood if he wanted a protein similar to what the rest of his omnivorous family would get. Things are pricey. Inflation's here to stay and it's a touristy beach town. Considering that, it's not too bad. The folks at the register were very friendly. There are also lots of drink choices too. You order your sandwich at a counter from a sheet of paper with all the sandwich choices and leave it for the sandwich maker to make (on the day we visited, it was a sweet older lady) You take up your sandwich to check out and the lady behind the counter let us know that we could eat in, and where there was some tables. They also have some frozen soups, fresh meats, candy and baked goods.
