I get it many places have their distinct look with the old 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' mantra, but it doesn't hurt to have updates here and there to bring newbies back. They have a stage area which has seen better days. And the bathrooms are set up in a way which can be uncomfortable. I didn't even bother using it here. With the food, it was okay. I can tell the food wasn't homemade, especially the shrimp, but it was plenty to where I took some home for leftovers. Now here's where we run into issues. First off, the service was very slow. Keep in mind, it wasn't packed inside so it was no excuse for the waitresses to keep us waiting, especially for delivering drinks. Second, I ordered a Hoss's Hawaiian drink which was underwhelming. There wasn't even garnish on the glass. A drink with no pineapple, cherry or an orange slice....come on. Finally, their music selection was suspect. The first couple of songs included Judas Priest, Linkin Park and Nickelback, typical rock songs at a bar. Then, came acts like....Lisa Loeb and Dave Matthews Band??? I thought I was in a dive bar where bikers hung out, not a supermarket shopping for groceries. Me and some of the people were even laughing about it. Overall, not a good experience.
