I know my way around the glue gun and a Silhouette machine but not a palette of watercolors or charcoal pencils. This was the perfect class! I got to create something without any real preconceived idea of how it "had" to look and for me, that was refreshing! Rhonda was informative and patient in explaining why were doing things a certain way and she left the artistic part up to me. She covered all the different materials she commonly uses. I appreciated all the recommendations and useful info on the materials. I feel confident I could create another geode all in my own now. Truly a relaxing process and a great self-care experience. Going to try to make it a girls night next time!

Locally owned by Tara and Stephanie who set it all up, taught the painting class, and helped with clean up. I was still happy with what they were able to offer us for a small company Christmas party. We got to make a resin Christmas tree with shard glass. I mean the amount of options were mind blowing. I just wanted to keep making more and more but I did two different ones, three if you count my sons but he pretty much was able to follow along with the directions and the only help was when we were mixing the resin. The owner was our instructor and she was very patient with us and helped us with our visions. Our event was at her studio and it can hold up to about 10 with some space. If you have a larger group please let them know and they will advise what can be worked out. They don't just do resin they also have paint, jewelry making, mosaic and other things just ask them. Everything else is provided, the paint, brushes, easel, and I liked how the picture was drawn out, so you could follow the lines. We were the only two registered in the class, so we got a bunch of attention and help lol. Neither of us were painters, so we really appreciated the instructor taking her time with us. The instructor, Diana, was amazing and again very helpful. The painting wasn't that hard, so it was fun to follow along but also go and do what we wanted for the painting. My wife called them ahead of time to let them know that our daughter has a disability and it would be great if they could accommodate her while attending the party. Set up all the canvas, easels, did & got the cake ready, punch ready, everything well planned out and organized. All we have to do is show up! We had the kids paint Olaf the snowman from Frozen.
