There you sign a piece of paper, ensuring they will get your $$$. The unnamed instructor, began by saying you ALWAYS shake a martini 3-5 times. This isn't a Bond film. ALWAYS shake a Tequila Sunrise. Another of their "poor" methods. They use plastic ice, substitute water for OJ, cream, etc.. A student asked the instructor how long she'd been bartending, the instructor replied she'd never bartender or been in a bar, she took the course a year ago & they asked if she would teach. The bar set up? The only "set up" is they set you up for failure. When the topic of rimming a glass with salt or sugar, we were told to "use our imagination". Regarding the set up, there was no way to properly clean, learn sanitary techniques because there's NO SINK, no running water. Their customer service is rude. When I texted, before 2nd glass, regarding questions & concerns I had, I was told, "if you know so much, why did you take the class?" I'm trying to get some of my $300 back, I may not get any.
